Visited by accident and not a fan. Service - 3 at best. With all due respect to older generation working in the restaurant,we waited 30 min at the table until someone will take our order. It was a hassle to get a water, we had to remind about ordered drinks. We had to wait another 30 min for our rolls. Food- 3. We ordered sushi and portion size was minuscule. This place is awesome. I grew up in a heavily Japanese-influenced community in LA and also spent some time living in Japan, and the food here at Fukusuke reminds me of the izakaya-style home cooked meals I’m used to. The staff here are so nice and friendly, especially Mama-San, who I think is the owner. This is one of my all time favorite restaurants. It's unlike any other experience. It's one of those great little family owned restaurants that rarely still exist. I feel like family when eating here. It's almost sad because I compare almost every other Japanese restaurant to this place and nobody else ever compares or lives up to what I experience at this restaurant.
