M & G Burgers — Restaurant in Larkspur

I grew up eating at this place at the other (original) location when I was a lil kid in the 90's and havet stopped eating there since. I do go to this location more often now cause it's closer to where I live now but they are one in the same. Amazing burgers and fries...employees are always smiling and happy to help u out. The food comes out hot and always on time. This location also has a movie projector that displays on an open wall inside which has on different movies or sporting events that u can view from anywhere inside. Also has a few places to eat outside in the nice Marin weather. Place in Fairfax and the establishment in general has been in biz since the 50's I believe. So if that doesn't answer the question of whether this place is fire or not then I dunno what...

I had a disappointing experience at this place. The food was just okay, nothing special. When it was time to pay, I found out they only take cash. They had an ATM on-site, which charged a $3.50 fee to withdraw money. I went along with it, but things got worse when I asked for a receipt.

The staff gave me a handwritten note on a piece of paper. I told them I needed a proper receipt for work reimbursement, but the person got upset and said that’s all they could provide. It felt unprofessional and made me wonder if they are running things legally.

Burger king quality for sit down prices. Fast food for ignorant rich people who know no better or don't want to drive out of the area. If you really need beef+ cheese on a bun, just go to the crappy Philly Cheese Steak place down the street by Albertson's, at least the prices are more fair for the quality. If you have a car and have expendable cash just go to Super Duper or Phyllis' which is exceedingly better and definitely worth the drive. This place is a last resort if you require a fast food quality burger and you're in the immediate area and you don't want to drive/cook. Although I still suggest just not eating here.
