Aloha Hawaiian BBQ — Restaurant in Las Vegas

This place is one of those hidden gems that are hard to come by. I stumbled upon it while looking for a new Hawaiian BBQ spot near me — and I’m glad I did. Having lived on the north side for over 11 years, I’m honestly just happy this place exists.

From the outside (and even the inside), the restaurant looks super simple, but don’t let that fool you. Where they really shine is in the food, portion sizes, and speed of service.

When I walked in, I was the only customer, but within 10 minutes, there were about 10–12 people. It seems like a lot of locals go for takeout, which makes sense because they move fast — I was in and out in about 15 minutes.

Now, the food: I’ve tried a few different plates here. The beef plate is solid — great flavor and generous portions. The BBQ combo plate is hands-down my favorite, with short ribs, BBQ chicken, and BBQ beef all on one plate. It’s packed with flavor and super satisfying. I also tried the seafood BBQ combo. The only downside was the mahi mahi — it’s a bit hit or miss depending on the day.

Overall, I’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve tried so far, and I’d definitely recommend giving this place a shot at least...

I went to the establishments and it was nice and clean. The young lady at the counter greeted me with a very lovely hello. And I place my order. Upon standing and waiting for my order to be made, I watched one of the cooks or the dishwasher with his hands in the food. During my time there another gentleman came in in order food he may have come in about 5 to 7 minutes after I came in to place my order. Ironically both his order and my order were completed at the same time. I ordered a local Moco Florida. After being handed my food young lady at the desk and see if I needed any hot sauce, I had already asked for the sauces before the food had been prepared. I have been coming here for 12 years. The food is great. However, whoever they have working the register and taking orders at night is extremely rude. The whole time we talked she had a bad attitude. My order was messed up and once it was delivered I noticed the mistake and called back. I said I would pay for my correct order because I still wanted my dinner and at first she said she got it correct and they would not bring me my food. The person next to me heard me order my food correctly and heard how rude she was both when ordering and when the problem was addressed.
