Today I purchased a Rosca de Reyes for work and tradition is that there will be 3 baby Jesus that whom ever receives them will have to do tamales. Once we started cutting into the bread, we noticed that there was no baby Jesus’s. Did call and was told to bring it back. Upon bringing back, the lady working stated they would give us the baby Jesus, this is not how this works. All I wanted was a replacement or my money back. They could not satisfy or fix the issue. At this point, I was give the phone to talk to the wife of the owner but she began to insult me and cursing stating I am trying to defraud them. I was upset at this point. I run a business and if a customer is not satisfied then we do what is necessary to try to satisfy. The lady on the phone did not want to replace the bread nor give me a refund. Like I said, I brought back the bread and still no replacement nor money back. At this point, this business needs to learn how a business works. This was very unprofessional from the lady on the phone. I am bringing this issue to BBB. You do not curse at a customer. All I wanted was my money back or a...
Read moreThis local bakery features some of the most delicious pastries, donuts and cakes around. They make pupusas, tortillas, French pastries, and even Pizza that I wasn't aware of until looking at the pictures of the outside signs just now! Read moreThis is a dishonest business. This business does not post any prices on the bread, cakes or other products that they sell. So, whoever is the attendant, they add up how much they want to charge you. They charge 4% on the total of the purchase if you pay either card, whether it is debit or credit. They charge $1.00 for the box if you want to take your bread in a box. I only found out because I asked. The receipt does not detail the cost for each item, the card transaction 4% charge, nor the total charged for tax. Pupusas are $3.50 each and they don't post the prices.
