3 strikes, and I'm done ordering from this restaurant. I strongly dislike writing bad reviews for restaurants as I have worked in the restaurant industry for a long time, but when it is worse than McDonald's? C'mon. From undercooked pizza, burnt pizza, missing toppings, no pesto drizzle, no side of ranch when on the ticket, to terrible customer service, I will not be returning to Blaze Pizza. Each visit, there's been an issue, when I go in to pick up my pizza at the pick up counter, often ignored as I'm standing at the counter trying to get help, as my pizzas are sitting in the box getting cold. Doesn't seem the oven is cleaned as often as it should be, as my fingers would be covered in black ash, did I ask for well done? No! My last visit, I picked up my pizzas, after a few visits, each having a mistake, I decided to check my pizza before realizing when I got home, since apparently you can't trust people to READ the order ticket and follow that, as the customer ordered, I noticed there was not a pesto drizzle on my pizza, and no side of ranch, I brought the pizza back to the counter, and asked for the pizza to be made, as on the ticket as the pesto drizzle and ranch was missing. The worker, gave me a side of pesto, instead of drizzling on top of the pizza, and forgot to give me the ranch, so not only did she not follow the ticket once, she couldn't comprehend it twice? Even after I explained what was missing. I am beyond disappointed with the staff at this location, mainly the pick-up counter, but as a whole, the customer service individuals working in this industry have dramatically declined in job performance and overall hospitality. Can this industry truly not find good people to work it? I left this industry due to the incompetence of the people I was forced to work with. It has not gotten any better. Do...
Read moreThe service is really bad at this location. I would not recommend going here. The first time we visited, the menu was obviously still new to us so I did a "template" pizza. My fiance wanted to build her own but since she was unsure of what toppings to put on her pizza, she changed her mind and wanted to do a "template" pizza instead. This change occurred before any toppings were put on the dough and the kid behind the counter got frustrated and as he was angrily striking his sharpie pen to indicate a change in how to build the pizza. He was purposefully striking my fiance's pizza dough with the sharpie and there were 3-4 sharpie marks on our pizza dough.
We decided to give this place another chance 2 weeks later with our friends and everything was going smooth...we chose to share one template pizza. The cashier was nice and complimented me on how heavy my credit card was. However, the kid cooking the pizza ended up putting balsamic vinegar instead of BBQ sauce on our Chicken BBQ pizza and asked me if I wanted to take the pizza like that or have it remade. I confirmed that I wanted it re-made and after confirming, the kid was shaking his head frustratingly like he was frustrated that I did not choose to just take the pizza that was improperly made. I ordered a BBQ Chicken Pizza not a Balsamic Vinegar Chicken Pizza. Additionally, after this incident, when my friend's pizza was done instead of calling out her name he just waved the pizza around in the air and called her over like an animal and refused to say the name on the order.
Would rather go to Little Caesar's and get a hot n ready which is more tasty and filling than get another pizza and bad customer service...
Read moreAwful, slow, badly coordinated, cold pizza.
I ordered using the Blaze App for a 6.15pm pickup and arrived a couple of minutes early. I waited. Waited some more. More waiting.
Hardly any staff working. I know everywhere is struggling for staff as no one wants to work and I would have been far more understanding if the staff who were working were coordinated and doing their jobs. They weren't. They were doing each other's jobs. Very badly.
I learned that no one was covering the web or app orders just focusing on walk ins. Turn off the App ordering then!
One person was working the oven then would be called away and swap. The person who was boxing up would then take over the oven and 7 or 8 pizzas sitting waiting to be cut and boxed left sitting to get cold. Then she'd go to box pizzas and those in the oven get burned. She was actually trimming burned edges off people's pizzas.
Here's a thought. If you're overwhelmed, stop taking orders. Clear the backlog then resume. Don't keep throwing more pizzas into a full oven for there to be nowhere to put them other than scattered around getting cold. People will understand. People will not accept cold, burned, late pizzas.
Some staff were courteous and polite but I didn't go for manners, I went for hot pizza.
People who walked up at 6.20 got their pizzas before mine. I ordered an hour ahead!
Deleting the app. Keep my reward flames (I've got many). I won't be back.
Response after Blaze's reply
I won't be in touch. I've had too many bad experiences. A free pizza doesn't make up for ruining my Friday evening stuck watching...
