Boss's Slow Smoked BBQ — Restaurant in Las Vegas

We eat a LOT of BBQ, so we were surprised this place had escaped our radar. Well, that turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

Three of us ordered food from here, and this was the result:

The Good: -The catfish nuggets were good; the two people who had them liked them.

The Mediocre: -The chicken quarter was solidly okay. -Two people said the coleslaw was alright. -One person said the baked beans were okay, and two people hated them. The beans have green bell peppers in them, which is 90% of their taste.

The Bad: -The sauce tasted mostly ketchupy. -The “pulled pork” was chunks of pork rather than pulled, and it was incredibly bland. One person dumped it out onto a cutting board to chop it up. -The greens were incredibly bland, straight from a can - no flavours, not even salt. -The banana pudding started off as solidly okay, but progressively got worse, getting active complaints about the graham cracker crumbs on the bottom.

If you’re curious, give them a try - who knows, you might like it! It might be exactly what you’re looking for in a BBQ joint.

Nothing chain about this place, this is small business done right (if it's not a family run business it definitely feels like it, with how much each person values the operation and its customers). Hearty, full flavor bbq that's cooked as clean as they come. Smoked with spices, paired with house spicy or regular bbq sauce. Our favorite order is chicken breasts with a side of mac 'n cheese. Hands down our favorite place for options to mind our health and "cheat clean" or just indulge in "soul food." Really good variety at ridiculously reasonable prices that we haven't found anywhere else. We will literally drive 15 minutes out of our way to go here it...

The food was the best BBQ that I’ve had in Las Vegas I felt like I was back at home in CA. The service was impeccable. The store was very nicely done and clean.

I had the brisket, hotlink, and Ribs with Greens and Mac and Cheese with home fries

The brisket had so much flavor juicy and tender the hot links were good not too hot and not over cooked the ribs oh my god the ribs feel off the bones and had so much flavor.

The greens and Mac and cheese so was so good and the chocolate cake and banana pudding the best.

I am sad that they are closed on Monday because I can’t wait to go back tomorrow and Wednesday Thursday and Friday for their...
