I recently had a deeply disappointing experience at this location, which has severely affected my trust and patronage. Upon arrival, I, along with four other patrons who were already there, placed our orders. Shortly after, three additional patrons arrived. The staff then informed us that there would be a ten-minute wait per customer because they had just received five online orders that needed to be prioritized first.
Despite my attempt to understand the situation, the refusal to accommodate our order for three giant sandwiches and two mini sandwiches was frustrating. Additionally, when I asked if name tags were part of the uniform requirement, both employees informed me they were not. Even more concerning was the refusal to provide the names of the employees or any information about the franchise owner, general manager, or other managers.
While I was trying to reason with the staff, three patrons behind me walked out, clearly frustrated by the delay and poor service. I expressed my frustration, pointing out that the employee had effectively allowed $60 to walk out the door, a significant amount that could roughly equate to about three hours of his salary. I suggested that they should prioritize their workloads more effectively, balancing in-store patrons with online orders to avoid making customers wait for 10-12 minutes each.
Ultimately, eight in-restaurant guests were affected by this refusal. Despite my attempts to gather information, I only deduced that Vanessa Capurso might be somewhat responsible for this location from the licensing and certifications posted in the store.
As a small business owner in the area who has relied on this location for 100% of my event catering orders, totaling over $2,000, I am incredibly disappointed. This experience has severely tarnished my perception of the establishment, and I will reconsider utilizing their services...
Read moreBone/cartridge in my SUB!!!!
So we went to Jersey Mikes for lunch today. My boyfriend went and picked up lunch, brought it back to our shop. As i was about half way through my Philly sub i bit something hard. So as anybody would do I pulled it out of my mouth and as you can see it was bone/cartridge. So needless to say I called the store. Spoke to the manger Lacy who said that is not possible, our meat is brought into us. I said I don't care YOU SOLD IT TO ME. I told her i can bring you my wrapper, and the receipt to prove we bought it from you. She said well when you can prove it, call me back!! Wow what great customer service. She was unapologetic, basically called me a liar! This is horrible customer service!! So I thought I would share my horrible experience with this place. I will be headed down there with everything and see what happens then!!
So I returned to the store with the bone, and receipt. She told me this is from their peppers and it happens from time to time! So wait a minute this is from peppers yet has meat and fat on it??? this happens from time to time? THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY THAT ON THE PHONE AND MAKE IT RIGHT? Instead you called me a liar, and provided zero customer service. She said it was against their policy to refund any money because we had used a coupon on one of our 3 sandwiches! I was a little frustrated and speaking firmly but she asked to me to quit yelling at her or I would have to leave the store. she was worried about what the other customers would think. Ummm lady how about the customer right in front of you? Ugh... At the end of this horrible experience i received a refund, and they lost a customer who works across the street and the business we would...
Read moreNEW We were pleasantly surprised with the sandwiches here. The meat portions were more than ample, the cheese was delicious, and the sandwiches were made nice and large. We ordered a roast beef sandwich, a club sub and a Big Kahuna cheese steak. All three were very delicious. Unfortunately, We decided to eat inside, but the air conditioners were broken. My only complaint: it was way too hot inside. At least they have a soda machine indoors to refill your drink while you're there. Friendly service. Probably about 7 or 8 tables inside. No outdoor dining. Bottled and canned drinks were also available. I'm glad we came back to give this location another try.
OLD Pretty good meat portions, freshly sliced meat, but that's about the only positives. They only have a very limited number of vegetables from which to choose, they only have mayonnaise as a topping and some vinegar and oil, the bread was just ok, which was not remarkable, and overall we both ended up tearing apart our sandwich at the end. The cheese was literally see-through, it was sliced so thin. Plus, the sandwiches cost a buck or two more than other sandwich places. They are just "okay." I hate to even admit this, but I think the big S actually does a slightly better job these days. Oh well, we were hoping for better, or at least on par with their direct...
