Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Las Vegas

The Jimmy John's located at 5801 W Craig Rd has been going down hill for some time. My latest experience made me decide that I will no longer be eating at this location anymore, which is upsetting because I enjoy Jimmy John's and this is the closest location to where I live. The rest of them are too far away from where I live so I will eating Jimmy John's far less regularly.

Anyways, I go through the drive through and order a number 14, Bootlegger Club, with cheese and bacon. First issue I had was my order didn't come out very quickly, I ended up waiting close to 5 minutes for a sandwich and drink. That's not really a huge deal, but for a company with a slogan as "Freaky Fast" this wasn't it.

Second issue that I had was after I get home and take the sandwich out of the bag I realized that it was much thinner than normal. I opened up the sandwich and there was only two pieces of roast beef on it. There was no turkey (turkey is a meat that you don't even have to request for this sandwich, it's already supposed to be there) no cheese, and no bacon. This was a nothing of a sandwich, nothing. I paid $13.51 for it, and it it was absolutely not worth it. It wasn't enough to fill me up at all.

The last thing about this whole experience was that I commented on the Jimmy John's website and let them know how this experience was. I recieved an email from their corporate office customer service, which is located in Illinois, and they forwarded my experience to the franchise owner. I believe fanchise owners are required to make some contact within 7 days and I never heard anything back from that individual to offer any sort of resolution. It shows me they do not care about their customers. I wasted my money at this location for the last time, and I will not be spending I there any more.

Sat. 6/14/25 at 11:45am - Walked in and asked about ordering the spicy Italian that has double meats - not because I care about double meat but it had the pepper and another ingredient that the regular Italian didn’t have. No biggie. I asked to substitute the cappicola meat with roast beef but I had to pay to add an extra meat despite not wanting cappicola. I was okay with that and added my roast beef. Since I was paying for the cappicola I asked that they put it on the side for my dog. The sandwich didn’t come with mustard so I asked if they could add yellow mustard. Cashier Alex said yes.

Sandwich was made and once I got to my car and drove away I proceeded to eat it but it had no mustard. Not even any added to my bag for me to put on. So drove back and got mustard packets which they could have just given me to begin with- I need that to enjoy my sandwich which is why I ordered it with yellow mustard which is ironically on the receipt but wasn’t added!

When I ordered the cashier ALEX asked if I was a reward member and I told him this was my first time ever having Jimmy John’s so no. I joked that I’ll see how this visit goes before signing up to get points or whatever comes with being a member.

NEVER WILL I EVER EAT AT THIS PLACE AGAIN likely no other Jimmy John’s either. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m pretty sure the owner of this place won’t care based on the vibe of the staff but hopefully it will save some patrons from frustration in the future. #JerseyMikes #Cares. I highly recommend Jersey Mikes in Vegas, been to a few locations and they are always attentive and get your order right.

Also like to mention they don’t cut your sandwich in half which seems weird to me as well. I’m from the hood so far from boogie but I do eat like a civilized person so to have it cut in half would actually be helpful. Jersey Mikes and Subway does it,...

In Brief: Quick, fresh and reliable. The moment I finished paying my sandwich was ready and right. If you're looking for a quality cold sub for a good price, this is the place.

In Detail: When I walked in I knew what I wanted, the menu is very self explanatory. There is no question, Jimmy Johns is a hoagie, cold sub kind of place fresh ingredients, made to order.

I placed my order and on this occasion ordered The Vito. They asked whether or not I wanted to add sauce and if I wanted chips and a drink. By the time they handed me my change, my sandwich was in a bag! He put the receipt in the bag and I was on my way.

In other words, when you hear them claiming to be freaky fast, it's all true. I was shocked. It was great because I could get right to eating on my short lunch break. The employees were very smooth and excited themselves about the process.

I definitely know Jimmy Johns in general has a good thing going for them. And compared to other cold sandwich shops in town, they have a great selection, attitude and process about getting an excellent sandwich made. You can't beat the price for what you get. Definitely my favorite cold sandwich spot in town.
