La Mojarra Loca — Restaurant in Las Vegas

Absolutely do not eat here … they scammed me out of almost $70 …! They charged me for my meal and then went ahead amd charged me a second time for someone else’s meal … I called and explained to them that one of their waitress used my card a second time on someone else tab and immediately tried to tell me there was nothing they can do about it … how can a business be ok with this ? The general manager called me back with such a nasty attitude as if I did something wrong to them and I explained that I just wanted my money back for the second charge … she claimed that there is no record of the purchases and they decided they were not going to help me and keep my money … well here is the proof that I was there straight from my back account itself … not sure how they will keep denying the fact when the proof is here … that being said … do not eat here and if you do , keep checking your bank account cause they are using your card multiple times on other peoples bills … shame on this business… I will never come back here … and I’m still report them as fraud...

My first visit was on Mother's Day with family. It was packed, which I expected. The food is 5 STARS. I gave 3 because walking in, there is no waiting area for those waiting for a table, everyone is just in a huddle basically at the entrance of the restaurant, touching elbows. Ew. The first table that became available for my party was a table RIGHT NEXT TO THE ENTRACE. YES, WHERE THE HUDDLE IS. Both my son and I sat at the end of the table closest to the door, and one lady had her entire BUTT on my sons shoulder while hes trying to eat. The more he scooted away, the more she disregarded he was there and kept scooting over until I finally yelled out EXCUSE ME. Another lady kept bumping me while I was eating. She might as well have sat on my lap. Of course staff never addressed the situation nor initiated anything to have the customers wait outside in a line. It was...

I really do like finding random places I normally wouldn't go to, cause you never know...it might be amazing. However, this wasn't one I'd probably come to again. We were in the area and it had good reviews so we gave it a try. The inside is more inviting than the outside. Very large menu, prices are a bit high...considering in the areas they are lacking. Refried beans were extremely watery, salsa was very spicy, kiddo's fries were very undercooked, no extras with fajitas (meaning it didn't come with guac, sour cream, shredded cheese, etc), the beans to hold the taco salad were cold. The taco salad was tasty but also a bit bland (didn't care for the tons of carrot shreds in it) and would have given it more flavor if chicken was seasoned better or maybe if it had some black beans in it. Had to ask for refills for our water. No wow factors here and wasn't...
