I was trying to buy some Randy's for my crews at work, in a solar field. I tried for 4 weeks. We start at 5am but it's an hour drive, so I am at Randy's by 330am to buy several dozen. the 1st 3 times the drive thru board said sold out...of course all the good doughnuts are sold out. So I figured I would be smart and order online. I get a confirmation from door dash( no idea why DD does orders for pick-up) I get a phone call at 9 pm to confirm and I send a screen shot of my order to Arturo the GM bcuz he didn't see my order but my name was there. So at 3am I get an email saying my order is canceled. So I drive to work upset again and decide to send Art a message thanking him for wasting my time. Arturo was very apologetic and told me DD canceled the order and the doughnuts were ready. I had my mind made up I was never buying a doughnut from Randy's ever again in life. Art is very determined to change my mind and opinion on this. His passion and personal pride led me to give him a try...one more time. So the next morning I arrived at 330am and my order was there fresh and perfect. Arturo had delivered and is a man of his word. I really want his boss or the actual owner to know bcuz of him I will come back to Randy's and I will insist to everyone I know and work with to try them, BTW the men most of which never heard of Randy's doughnuts b4 bcuz they r from the east coast. They quickly fell in love with them and wished they had a Randy's where they lived. So this long story is all about Arturo and his pride and determination and he should be rewarded. He could of easily said its just 1 unhappy customer, that 1 customer won't matter in the big picture of sales. Thank you Arturo I will be seeing you again very soon if not on a weekly or biweekly...
Read moreWait a minute this place just opened and already had an issue with their free donut coupon offer I was given 2 coupons for a free glazed donuts one for me the other for my wife when I bought a dz ok so last night I went through the drive through to redeem them the girl working there told me I can only use one coupon per visit per customer so I gave her the two coupons and told her ok 1 visit one for my wife and one for me she again told me one per visit per customer like I dint understand her like I am some kind of dork wow really so instead of arguing for a donut I just let it pass then she wanted to charge me for the other donut wow come on what’s going on with poor customer service this is totally wrong I think what she wanted to say was one donut per family per visit. This was my second incident at this store the first one was waiting 25 mins in line at drive through with only 3 cars ahead of me wow when I left a feedback I did receive a call from Byron which I called back and the employee gave me his cell number which I also called but he never called me back seems like all the care about is the dollar $$$$ I will give this place just one more chance since my father use to take me to the Inglewood location several times a week when I was 5 years old if I don’t hear nothing back this time I will be going back to winchels on Decatur and right off the 95 freeway also 24hrs and they are always Freshly made and cheaper as well...
Read moreThis is beyond disappointing and quite honestly a joke. Went to the shop during opening week and waited for hours to get some donuts a few weeks back, but by the time I got to ordering most of everything was sold out on the menu. Then figured I'd try again when it was less busy and couldn't get most of the donuts once more because there were many already sold out on the menu late morning. Today Sunday 9/11, me and my family woke up at 5am to get to the shop early in order to pick up some fresh donuts but to our surprise, almost all the classics and premium donuts were already Sold Out at 5:40am! How can a donut shop not have donuts in the morning? Then we ordered 2 pink raised donuts with sprinkles and received 2 pink sprinkles cakes instead and ordered a ham & cheese croissant and received a plain one. Donuts were not fresh but seemed to be left overs from the night before, I wouldn't be so upset if at least the person at the window showed more empathy when I complained. Another disappointing point, every single time we went to Randy's the Randy's Round have always been unavailable, so if they're never going to have an item available, they might as well not list it on the menu.
