9th Street Pub — Restaurant in LaSalle

The owner is having a "Charity" event for my sister who passed away on December 3rd 2018, on February 23rd 2019 charging $15 dollars with the proceeds going to her son Jimi who's real name is James and my sister has two other children but were not included in this "Charity" event! My big deal about this is that the family was not aware of this nor notified, on top of that where were they when we the family had her Sevices with her remains there!???? This is a flat out scam and total disrespect to her children and family! I spoke to the owner and he only cared about handing me the flyers to the event and then saying it's Dimas Martinez event!? Okay still none of this is okay it remotely moral! Shame on you All for making money off of a deceased person and without inquiring with that...

It took 45 minutes to get our last two burgers;The chili was cold, but the bowl was super hot. None of the food was great. It was edible, but I would not recommend anything here. We ended up going back to the bar to get our drinks because the waitress only came back to check on us once in 45 minutes, and then only when she had the food.

The cook, who I'm guessing was also the owner, came out and apologized profusely for the 45-minute wait, saying that the POS system had malfunctioned and didn't send the order through. He even removed the french fries. The best part about the place...

We called to order food for delivery(which was advertised on facebook an hour or so before we called) to find out there weren't deliveries. Not a big deal though we got carry out. I ordered the ravioli and i didnt end up getting garlic bread and hardly any sauce on my pasta and it had a very watery consistency. We also got the cheese curds which were good. My boyfriend had bacon added to his sandwich and a big piece of it was all fat and didnt seem cooked enough. Might order again in the future but we were somewhat...
