Checkers — Restaurant in Laurel

Got in line with 2 cars ahead of us. It took 10 minutes for the first car to get their food. When the car in front of us got to the window, they got their drinks after about five minutes. We waited another 5 for them to get 2 bags of food. They sat there and checked their orders and then signaled for them to open the window. It took them another 5 minutes to get two more bags and another drink. I don’t know what that was about but it took us almost thirty minutes to get to the window. There were 3 people in there having a good time a laughing it up. When I finally got to the window the girl and the register stood with her back to us having a good time and had to be told to turn around. When she finally opened the window, I asked her if my order was ready before I gave her my card. If I didn’t get my order immediately I would have driven off without my food. She was unfriendly and unapologetic. If I could have jumped the curb, I would have left before I got to the window but I was blocked in. That is the most inexcusable , so called fast food service I have ever seen. I can see from other reviews that this is a common occurrence at this business. I...

Ordered 2 of the bbq Texas toast burgers. They made classics with bacon. Told them I ordered the bbq ones and they just added bbq to the classics and then two employees argued with me that is how the bbq one is made. It is not. Completely different toppings on those two burgers. It's on the website and a sign in the parking lot. I had to ask for a refund 3 times before they annoyingly refunded the money. Use to be a good place to get food but the order being wrong then them being rude and lying about how a burger is made and being annoyed about giving a refund after they wouldn't fix the order says they don't care about their customers and it's not worth getting food there. If there were a zero rating they would have gotten it for their employee's...

Honestly, I've never had a bad experience here. Every once in a while you'll catch a sever having a rough night which is normal for a teenager living their life. Any time a manager is at the window they're always kind and patient. The Burford is one of the better fast food hamburgers in Laurel. The fries... if you know you know and if you don't you should.

It's fast food, literally. Good food too. (I would only suggest the cheese sticks for kids six and under because if Checkers saved money anywhere it was the cheese sticks. There like 2 dollars so...)

Overall - I always recommend Checkers...
