Stopped here on bus trip and was excited to try everything they had with chili sauce to see if it compares to our NJ Texas wieners, first of all they are not very accommodating to your order and talking to the cashier that is ringing your order up was like talking to a brick wall, in one ear and out the other. She was nice but not listening to what I said to her. I ordered chili fries with no cheese and she rung up cheese fries with no cheese. I asked for my hot dog grilled hard on both sides and she said that’s how they do it, I stated no I like mine left on grill longer. She never told this to the grill person or put on my receipt as she had the cheese fries with no cheese🙄. I then was speaking out loudly to the supervisor or male manager on the floor helping pack the orders and he basically ignored me even after he questioned her ordering the cheese fries with no cheese. I got my bag quickly and mind you it was not crazy busy in there or at the drive thru, they had plenty of employees in there working and when only a few of us that went in there got our food there were only 2 other customers in there. I got back on the bus and had one bite to taste the hot dog was barely grilled, so here I am at home cooking that same hot dog. I have no need to patronize a business that serve me undercooked food or not accommodate a simple request of my order. Five Guys will continue to get my business here in this area where I cant get a good NJ Texas wiener as they accommodate me when I ask for my hot dog to be grilled harder on both sides even when busy. This location was so busy telling me how it would be to my liking bcz that’s how they do it when I’m telling them no that is probably grilled enough for you but not to my liking and is what I’m requesting. You can tell there wasn’t enough heat for grilling it let alone to kill any germs or bacteria (not saying that it had any, just saying not thoroughly cooked enough with heat. No sense in asking for manager bcz he was more nonchalant than the employees so when I read another reviewer speak of how they were treated I can...

The price was borderline outrageous for a fast food restaurant: I ordered a double cheeseburger combo with an upgrade from fries to small order of onion rings and from soda to small peanut butter milkshake. The total was $16 and change. Both upgrades were $2 a piece. Coming from California where a double double with fries and a milkshake at the famed In & Out is $11, I was taken aback at the price initially. The drive thru line was empty, but it still took around four minutes for the food to be ready as they cook to order (never a bad thing). The milkshake came out first and it was fresh and flavorful. I would say on par with In & Out which is a positive. When she handed me the bag of food I was surprised at how heavy it was. Now to the good stuff. The “small” onion rings were incredible. This would be a large order anyplace else. Fried to perfection and when you bite into them the entire onion doesn’t slide out of the fried coating. It stays intact. Which is difficult to do. The only thing I wish they had done was offer a sauce. Ranch or something. Nevertheless the onion rings were amazing just by themselves. I was blown away. Then there was the humongous cheese burger. Two smashed burger patties smothered in cheese. Tomato, pickles and lettuce. The bun was your typical sesame seeded bun, neither great nor bad, but the burgers were incredible. My only complaint would be that it came without any ketchup or sauce. It was still sublime, but good to know for next time: ask for ketchup and sauce. I hold every burger fast food joint up to In & Out which I consider the ultimate. Smash and Dash somehow manages to exceed it. When you factor in the prices perhaps they come out even, but I can’t praise this place enough. I look forward to trying out their fries and fish sandwich. And taking my friends and family who visit from out of state there. Highly recommend this little gem. Wish they had one...
