Ward's Restaurant — Restaurant in Laurel

It is only worth 1 star because the fries were hot. I will not be back to this location. The restaurant is nasty, it smelled nasty and the burger was nasty. I had only been to one other Ward before this one. I liked it, so we wanted to try this one near our home. My burger was cold and hard. Do not leave old cold burgers left over from lunch. The fries were hot and the ice was good. The soda machine must have been broken because the soda tasted nasty. I was very disappointed. I know that Mississippi is behind the times with cleanliness but please we are not in the stone ages anymore. The whole restaurant needs to be closed and sanitized. Im talking about the equipment, counters, cash register, soda area, front of counters, tables, chairs, floors, doors and dessert area. NASTY JUST NASTY. THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO WOULD EAT IN THERE ARE THOSE WHO ARE JUST AS NASTY. The only saving grace was the cashier was nice and helpful. No I did not take my burger back up, I dont want a sandwich with spit or any other nasty things...

I will NEVER go to Ward's again!!! Number 1, the woman at the window had her mask down around her neck...Number 2, I had ordered 4 breakfast plates, which she put all in one bag and could hardly hold the handles closed instead of placing 2 plates per bag. And BECAUSE of her overloading the bag, in order for her to be able to fit the bag through the window, she had to tip the bag over sideways WHICH SPILLED GRAVY ALL IN THE BAG and all over all of the plates and utensils, butter, jelly and napkins! I was not aware of this until I was on my way home and noticed gravy all over the back of my car seat!!! Her over packing my bag and, most especially, tipping the bag on its' side to pass it through the window was inexcusable!!! I believe that she knew better but just...

The Wards on hwy 16 sucks if you want food go to the one on Hwy 84 and Chantilly which is not that far away, two days after July 4, I open my plate this morning, the section for the grits was not full it was like 4 tspns the sausage was a half piece and the egg was half a egg, when we pulled up the cashier had a nasty very nasty attitude and kept calling us out of our name and laughing, one looked Whoopi Goldberg and the other one looked like shrek they are probably taking the food home and didn’t want us to eat is what it looked like and she kept yelling this is about 7: something am… I told my significant other pull off because I knew it was going to be trouble and I spent my money and it was not worth it go the Wards hwy 84 and Chantilly it’s a whole...
