⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Entertainment!!! Wonderful Singing and Dancing!!! Frustrating Policies and Management Communication.

I recently visited The Music Man Singing Ice Cream Shoppe in Lavallette, NJ, and had a mixed experience. The concept of singing servers and the lively atmosphere was definitely unique and fun. The performers were enthusiastic and did their best to entertain the crowd, which made the visit enjoyable, especially for kids.

However, I found some aspects of the visit a bit frustrating. The reservation and cancellation policy is quite strict and confusing, with various charges depending on the timing of your cancellation. It made the planning process more stressful than necessary. Especially considering that some items on the menu are LESS than the cancellation fee. Additionally, the requirement for every person in the party to order ice cream or face an extra charge felt a bit rigid. Moreover, when I asked if there was a full house... The answer was 'Yes'. Suggesting that the cancelled seats were resold to maximize profits? Hmmm.

When I brought up the confusing cancellation details from the website, Aggie, the ownership, seemed uninterested in addressing the concerns. It was clear that he didn't want to be bothered with it, which was disappointing given the unclear policies. This added to the frustration of the experience.

The ice cream itself was good, but nothing extraordinary considering the premium pricing. Also, it's worth noting that the shop is cash-only, which can be inconvenient if you're not prepared. Although there's an ATM found in the back. They take credit cards for reservations and cancellations only. Hmmm.

Overall, The Music Man is a fun place to visit if you’re looking for an entertaining night out with family, but be aware of the policies and plan accordingly. It’s a 3-star experience for me,—good, but with some room for improvement. The Entertainment Staff was Excellent.

2025 - My grandson, David, and I attended the 8:15 Family Cabaret Show at THE MUSIC MAN, this past Monday night (8/25)! What a fabulously, fun evening, filled with laughter, singing and of course, delicious ice cream!! Aggie's crew had us smiling the moment we just outside the door. walked in the door. Our server, Stevie - personality plus - had David "ROARING" for his "Rip Roarin'" ice cream as Katy Perry sang Eye of the Tiger! I think the entire audience heard his R-O-A-R!!! And, I left with a Music Man Coffee Mug, after finishing my Cup 'o Jo Coffee Ice Cream!!! Everyone at TMM makes you feel so very welcomed from the moment you arrive. The entertainment is delightful, and the staff is terrific! We are already looking forward to next year!! THANK YOU, Aggie, Josephine, Stevie and All!!

2024 - WOOT-WOOT!! Thank you, Aggie and THE MUSIC MAN PERFORMERS!! We had the GREATEST TIME at the 7pm SWIFTY SHOW!! Right off the bat, with Rainbow Sprinkles, we had a singer at our table!!! 😉👍🏻 And, tho microphone shy, we had an 8 year old “Romeo,” who got lots of attention, 😂❤️ You made our vacation time EXTRA SPECIAL - the kids can’t wait to come, again!!! Music Man Ice Cream Shoppe in Lavallette, NJ is ice cream with a side of Broadway. Grandma loves musicals but her unpredictable health and her use of a walker makes it difficult to plan a night out to a show. With Music Man's hourly shows we gave Grandma the thrill of Broadway-caliber singers this year. We can enjoy their mini-show wo having to plan too far in advance.

This is the first time that we took Grandma but we have gone each summer for the last 6 years. The staff is looking very familiar by now. Aggie Roberts is the lead actor, creative director, and the owner. He is funny! Shawn does an endearing Sponge Bob routine that you will just LOVE. Joey will make you laugh when he invades your space. Garland has a great set of pipes.

You will watch the show while enjoying your treat. The menu is mostly ice cream and shakes but they also offer pressed coffee or hot chocolate. Non-dairy options include the fruit fondue and the Dole whip float. It is a good value considering that you enjoy a treat AND a show.

It is fun for ages 2 to 102. Even your cranky teenager will enjoy the Music Man Ice Cream Shoppe in Lavallette. My annual trip down the Jersey Shore is only complete once I make it to...
