My husband and I had a chance to have dinner here during the busy Labor Day weekend. I made an early reservation and when we walked in it was empty. There was a larger table that was seated after us, but that was it. For appetizers I had their LARGE Caesar salad, my husband had their ahi tuna ceviche and my sister had the buffalo cauliflower. The portions were very generous and the food was excellent. For dinner I had their garlic parmesan wings, my husband had the burger and my sister had one of their sushi rolls. Again everything was just delicious. It is a BYOB but if you are in Lavallette be sure to check this place out. Its a secret little hidden gem.

Roasted cauliflower is off the charts good. Steak salad had perfectly cooked steak, but was light on seasoning. Dressing was a bit underwhelming. Sushi was excellent considering it's not a Japanese restaurant, really enjoyed my roll. Service was initially quick, but got pretty slow after that. Had to ask another waitress to ping our waitress after a long wait when we were done. Almost none of this matters, though, because their ice cream selection is spectacular, along with toppings and sauces. Heading back there for breakfast now to give them another try.

This awesome rustic and beach Bistro just opened this year & it is an awesome spot! Open until 3 pm which leaves enough time for a morning cup of coffee, a delicious breakfast or a yummy ice cream cone! I brought my lap top here in the morning to get some work done and enjoyed a crispy, airy croissant 🥐 while working. Cute environment, beautifully decorated with much thought. Creative menu and maybe choices to pick from!

I really hate to write a bad review but I feel this needs to be out there, at least as feedback for the restaurant.

We went on Valentine’s Day and I was so excited to try this relatively new restaurant in lavalette. I follow on Instagram and everything looks so good. Their menu was... very specific and highly priced. I felt they lacked simple breakfast foods like plain pancakes, French toast, etc. everything was a specialty which is totally fine! We were 1 of 2 families there, and it took awhile for the server to come over and help us. When they did We ordered the eggs Benedict. She came out maybe 10 minutes later and said the chef didn’t know how to make the sauce for the eggs Benedict. What? Then 1. Why is it on the menu? And 2. A chef doesn’t know how to make a simple sauce- there’s packets in the grocery store... since the menu was so out there, we decided to just leave.

Maybe it was the day. Maybe we will try again, but just not a...

Great decor and a nice change of pace from your average breakfast/lunch spot. Every menu item is cooked fresh to order on fresh breads with the highest quality ingredients - at a very competitive price. Coffee bar up front serves a cold brew that leads me to believe Dunkin' has been giving me decaf all these years. Adjoining space doubles as an ice cream "Parlor" (if you couldn't figure out where the name came from) with more flavors and toppings than you could imagine. Very friendly staff and management shared plans of more to come in the future with outdoor seating and even Dinner service. Will definitely be on the lookout as Lavallette welcomes another...
