Food was wonderful. I never had czarnina before and was allowed to sample it here. Not as vinegary as i expected and the cook explained she tones it down. Definitely much better than expected. My wife had the Polish breakfast and was very happy especially with the Polish toast which is a sweet bread. I had the ox roast sandwich, again a first for me. The shredded ox was very tender. I ordered the Polish platter to go and did not eat until the next day. Still, everything had a taste different from other Polish food I've had including in Poland, all to the better. The pierog was the largest I ever saw. I intend to return every time I am in Erie. Current menu attached as of Sept 2021. You'll see that the prices are good.

I met a friend here on his recommendation. He raved about the Polish food here and it did not disappoint! The Polish Breakfast special was amazing! It includes 2 eggs made to order, a large potato pancake, a large homemade sausage patty, Polish sweet bread and homemade strawberry jelly that was to die for. Everything was delicious! The place was clean and the service was fast and friendly with a sense of humor, which I like. I've heard their pierogies are the best around, so that'll be the next thing I try. They make 8 different kinds and you can order for take out. I will be frequenting this place, for sure!

You will not be disappointed if you want authentic Polish food. We were visiting from Virginia and my wife’s mother is Polish so we decided to take her out to the last Polish restaurant left in Erie. We were running late and the owners stayed open late to let us order and dine in. They talked with us as if they knew us for years. The food was delicious, especially the Ox Roast, Pierogis, sausage, potato pancake and golumpki. We can’t wait to go back! Prayers for another 41 years of serving Erie with Polish food!!

Dabrowski's is the quintessential American diner, the kind of place where you can get a good, filling breakfast or lunch for under $10. They have a classic 'greasy spoon' menu with a number of Polish favorites -- reasonably priced, prepared well and in generous portions. Expect a kitschy, no frills atmosphere and a hearty side of good-natured attitude with your meal.

The real secret here, though, is the homemade pierogi. They offer a half-dozen varieties and you'll want to try them all. Fortunately, you can buy them frozen by the pound at the counter, along with a few other...
