Updating my review : I went again today 5/8/25 to grab lunch. My favorite smoothie is back the cherry cloud.! But because of my milk allergy, I don’t get the protein added, even though they do offer vegan protein. I also do not get the collagen as it doesn’t agree with my food, allergies. They are very good with food allergies providing a brand new sanitized blender., and are very careful not to touch any surface that would have any allergens on it while they prepare my menu choices!
The cherry cloud, is my favorite smoothie as I love cherries, and I love coconut!! it is a seasonal smoothie! And worth the price because it has all very good organic ingredients in it! I also ordered the avocado toast again today and it’s amazing!! They are apparently training new people. I am very familiar and know how that goes in the hospitality world. No worries.! I’m glad to eat delicious food that’s safe for my food allergies! Thank you, PureGreen Princeton for rocking it!!
Old review: I don’t know what is going on, but I used to come here almost every week to get their avocado toast, which is $7 and a juice or a smoothie. The staff is still very friendly and welcoming. The place is still very inviting. But the presentation and amount of food you receive has gone down drastically. I was super disappointed with my avocado toast. I ordered yesterday. It had a smear of avocado on it. We are paying for convenience, but after this, I will be buying my own avocado, or I should say avocados and making my own avocado toast…. I get Chia seeds instead of chili flakes, which is an extra dollar I believe. And I requested extra salt, but when I received was almost an edible. Way too much salt added. Please teach the new employees about the importance of presentation, and small businesses reputation. Consistency is key. I hope one day when I decided to order my usual avocado toast again it comes with at least a half of an...
Read moreI have to stop giving this place a chance. First time I went here I got the Purple Haze smoothie. It tasted like algae - way too much blue spirulina. I believe they should describe what unfamiliar ingredients taste like on their signs. I went in to ask if I could exchange it because I literally took one sip. The employees said no, I have to buy a new one. So that's like, $25 spent on smoothies in one day. I got the Tropical Breeze, and gotta be honest, it didn't taste stellar either. But it was at least edible. A few months later, I gave another try. Fortunately, they had free samples this time, so I'm glad they must've listened to similar gripes. The pom one was not bad, but it had separated from being in the fridge. I went with the Pink Dragon because I knew I liked all of those ingredients. The smoothie straight up tasted like nothing. No sweetness from the pitaya, no tartness from the pineapple, and I think the mango was not ripe enough. I didn't even bother going back in to try and make it right because of my last experience. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. While the atmosphere is lovely, the smoothies just aren't for me. I'll stick to...
Read moreLoyal Customer, Unfair Experience with Rewards I am a regular customer at Pure Green Princeton location and visit almost every day or every other day. I truly enjoy the products, but I recently had an experience that left me very disappointed.
One of my coworkers went in to order for herself and also picked up a drink for me. The staff member recognized my usual order and, without my permission, applied my rewards to the purchase. As a result, my coworker received a free smoothie using my rewards, while I still paid for my drink.
When I went in the next day to use my rewards, the employee told me she had given them to my coworker. I asked why my rewards were given away without my permission, and her only response was, “I’m sorry,” before moving on. That is not acceptable.
I’ve spent a lot of money at Pure Green, and this isn’t about the free drink—it’s about the principle. Rewards are tied to my account and should never be used without my approval. As a loyal customer, I expect better accountability and respect for...
