Beware of an empty parking lot .
I arrived at mid afternoon. The parking lot adjacent to the establishment was empty. other close by establishments lots were occupied with cars.
Upon my entering this location there were only two people seated at a table in the venue. I had to ask the greeter were they open. Let me start off by communicating that the waitress was courteous and very nice. The restaurant was clean. However, I wasn’t given a special or a lunch menu. looks like you must ask for one.👎🏾 I was informed by a manager, that the lunch menu was only to be ordered on line to take out and that lunch ends at 3:00 (I was seated att 3:05 ) and lunch menus are honored as only takeout online ordering at this restaurant.🤷🏽♀️
So, I ordered the fish tacos and within less than a minute the waitress came back and said with her kind apology that unfortunately they could not honor serving the fish tacos because they had none. I opted for another type of tacos, and again was told they had none.
I then ordered the calamari, and the appetizer came back, filled with oil that you could see on paper underneath the food . In addition ,was hard , small sized and was not accompanied with marinara sauce.as a choice
I asked for marinara sauce, and I was told by the waitress that they had none but instead she could give me cocktail sauce.👎🏾 I spoke with a manager and explained I would be leaving.
I had traveled quite a distance, after reviewing and analyzing the views of this restaurant and felt it would be a good experience
I was extremely disappointed at what I experienced. And an afternoon and a a travel gas wasted! No lunch menu ,No available food from menu. GREASY AND oil filled evident food served in a paper filled basket … So again, beware of a restaurants with empty an parking lot.Oh & the bread was hard had to ask for another and was...
Read moreI won't be going back. You might have a very different experience. I'd suggest going on a week night or a less busy time. I went for an anniversary and the service was so bad we eventually just left without finishing our food.
I got a reservation for 6:30, showed up 5 minutes early and was told they were a little behind and that we'd have to wait ~10 minutes. That's fine, we went and got a drink at the bar. 20 minutes pass and I go ask how much longer it's going to be, and the hostess replies "Idk, I can't make people leave." We should've just left then, but I was trying not to ruin the date. We finally got called up after waiting 35 minutes after our reservation time! We're then standing for another 5 waiting to be seated. Basically they were 40 minutes late seating our reservation. Why even make an effing reservation at that point?
So we get seated, with the wrong menus, it's 10 minutes before we get the right menus another 15 before we get our drink order in. Same story again and again of just very slow service, dirty dishes piling up from not being taken away promptly, drinks not being refilled. It was almost 2hrs between walking through the door and getting our entrees. The food was okay, not really exceptional (which I wasn't expecting), not really terrible. We were planning dessert and such but rather than making it 3+ hrs of frustrating dinner we just took our...
Read moreSO was craving fried shrimp so we made reservations. Restaurant was freezing cold. Luckily we had hoodies with us and could bundle up.
Waitress came over almost immediately after we sat down as asked about drinks and appetizers. Just ordered seltzers bc we didn’t really have time to look. I ordered soup bc I was cold.
A food runner brought out my soup which tasted like queso dip with crab mixed in. We sat for awhile and didn’t see our waitress. A food runner cleared my empty soup bowl.
Waitress finally comes over and asks if we are ready for entrees. She then remarks that my soup never came out. I told her it had already come and gone. She was apologetic for not being aware and we ordered our entrees.
While we were waiting, other tables got bread and we got none. Other tables got drink refills or asked about other drinks and we got no such attention.
Entrees came out. SO had crabs legs and fried shrimp which were fine. I had a cod dish which wasn’t bad. “Premium” asparagus side was like five over cooked soggy asparagus.
Took some time to get our bill from the waitress (we were never asked about dessert or coffee). The restaurant was too cold and the waitress was too inattentive to make up for some of the food items that were mediocre. No management in sight. Not thinking of returning...
