Tastee Sub Shop Lawrenceville — Restaurant in Lawrence Township

I can’t understand these reviews that say these are the best subs in Mercer county. My wife and I tried them for the first time. She ordered the super sub and I, tuna. Hers was ok, smaller than I expected from the description but ok. My tuna sub was the skimpiest, most pathetic excuse for a sub….pretty much all bread. I ordered it with lettuce and onion - could barely tell they put any on it. Complete waste of money. There’s nothing even unique or special about the taste that make them worth it. Besides the slew of Mom & Pop sandwich shops, all of which are better than this place, Jersey Mikes and Classic Subs are hands down a better sub than this place puts out. If you really want a good sub in Mercer county, Chiarello’s in Hamilton is the place. I won’t ever order from this place again and I won’t be heartbroken if they go out...

My mom loves this place so I stopped in to grab hoagies for the fam...I wish I would've gotten the name of the gentleman who took care of me because he was amazing! He greeted me, took my order (even let me call my mom to be certain I got her order right...never looking annoyed)... He was sure to make each (3 half Italians) the way I wanted and even went above and beyond when I asked him to write on the sandwich paper whose was whose. He wrote super nice notes on each sandwich as if I had written them myself. I didn't see the actually messages until I got home but everyone loved that touch. Extra special thank you to him! We've been coming to this Tastee's for at least 15 years and will...

Always so amazing. Loved them before and still do. I give serious kudos to this location because we feel comfortable getting sandwiches for my boyfriend's mom who is highly allergic to tuna. When we tell them it is for her... New gloves. Counter gets wiped down. Brand new knife. All meats and cheeses freshly cut as always. All fixins are taken from new bags from the fridge including the mayo, oil, and vinegar. Even the one in South Brunswick said they wouldn't want to chance it. This one said no problem when I called and has continued to go above and beyond every time since. As if that wasn't enough... Just amazingly fresh...
