food is great and the old staff was nice . don't really care for the new girls they have up front with there poor attitudes when asking questions , there's no signs stating that if you pay with a card you get charged a 4$ fee . checking my statement i saw the extra charges and asked and was told there's a fee . i said well u should let customers know when they pull out there card or at least have a sign up on the the plexiglass . i'm out 16$ total now made 5 trips paid cash once i found out . basically i got robbed...

FOOD POISIONING. Avoid. I got super SICK, hospital type of sick. After a certain amount of time, they are supposed to throw out food, as it develops bacteria. They sold me an old-fried-potatoe ball. If you want healthy fresh sandwiches and pastellitos, don't go here. I recently went to Cachapas y Mas for the same and was delighted (hygiene, fresh food & also on Essex St). The Cafeteria is also a good one, also on Essex street, not too far from Miguelina's. It's a shame: Miguelina's was good...

This place has good food but they no longer sell Sopa de Pollo anymore which was my go to so I got a bistec encebollao but they don't have rice and beans only tostones. I found it to be very overpriced for just meat and tostones. Platanos are 3 for a dollar at the store....how am I paying 13-15 dollars for half course meal. I felt kinda robbed. They need a better menu or if not...
