The pizza I ordered online was somehow not right when it came. Missing 2 toppings on one and the crust tasted like undercooked flour. The second pizza was overcooked and toppings were burned and they were both cold upon arrival. I called the store and spoke to the lady who actually made my order (she said). I was never belligerent or disrespectful, I have worked in customer service many years. She was unsympathetic and admitted that due to high volume, deliveries were not making it to their destinations "the freshest". I asked to speak to her manager and the manager told me that they would not be able to do anything about it and they wouldn't make special exceptions because of the way his worker was spoken to. They did everything and anything to not make it right. So, I wasted 30+ dollars on pizza that went to the trash and had to find an alternative to feed my family. Bottom line, I will not be ordering from there again. It's very inspiring and this pizza hut definitely stands out from ALL the pizza huts in the kc metro area and beyond that I've been tol! It also assures me that THIS pizza hut location is great to place to work, knowing that the manager cares about all of her employees. Beth deserves to go around to other pizza huts to; be promoted, (I believe to train other managers and employees) how to work with people who are a little different but same deep down in the core. Stood at the counter for about 5 minutes patiently, while two people were cooking in the back and one worker sitting the side putting stickers on boxes. The person sitting didnt say two words while I was standing there. I finally left and still the worker didnt say two words. Simple customer service is calculus these days.
Plus giftcards never work in the app. Pointless. Had to select cash, then use giftcard when paying.
I, then went to the 23rd street location and their doors were locked! Both restaurants were technically open for an hour. I told the worker in drive thru, doors were locked and they thought they were unlocked.
No point in going to these pizza hut locations again. Never had a bad customer service experience at the two dominos...
