Taco Bell — Restaurant in Lawrence

Almost every single time I order they get something wrong. I have dietary restrictions by being vegetarian and can not eat meat, I always make sure they get that I’m substituting meat for refried beans and it’s almost a 50/50 shot they don’t do that. I’ve wasted more money on Taco Bell than probably any other fast food place! It’s especially disappointing when I have it doordashed and they get it wrong, cuz not only have I spent extra on it, but now it’s wrong and I can’t go back and get it fixed! It’s never the dashers fault either by the way!! #respectyourdashers. This review comes from many, many, many, bad experiences!! I want to support my local taco business but it’s getting to a point. The people who work there are kind but need to get the orders actually correct! Ya know the thing I’m spending money on!!! Today’s order was one of the weirder offenses. They got the beans right! But that was ALL that was in my crunch wrap :( the beans were the driest they’ve ever been and I genuinely couldn’t tell what was going on with them for a second. Like bone dry, like dirt from a flower pot you haven’t watered in months. It was despicable and that was ALL that was there!!! Absolutely terrible service. The food was tasteless and had poor texture.. and yet the food was the highlight. The service was EXTREMELY RACIST serving anybody whom entered before serving my dad and family.. when they finally did help us it was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. And then once we got our order they left items out and REFUSED to help or correct the issues. And then when we were trying to leave I got up to go ask for a bag to carry my left overs (a soft taco and a burrito) out with. And they not only ignored me at the front once again prioritizing everyone else around me TOO THE POINT ANOTHER CUSTOMER TRIED TO POINT ME OUT.. and still they ignored me. And even went behind me to my table to start (cleaning up) and nearly threw away my food had I not seen them doing it.. Absolutely horrible service. My girlfriend and I have come here dozens of times over the past couple years and never had a problem trying to order vegan. We ordered two crunch wraps fresco style with beans instead of beef. The changes were reflected on the ticket, so they knew. At the window the girl working turned away from us and ignored us as we tried to clarify and make sure that our food was correct. We were only met with a negative attitude. After getting our food my girlfriend tried a bite and lo and behold there was beef all throughout them. For a vegan of four years this can make someone VERY sick. After taking another trip around the drive thru and confronting a manager, he expressed absolutely no care in the world regarding our issue.
