This use to be one of the favorite places to go with my 3 sons, but it has disappointingly changed a great deal and not for the better. It is no longer welcoming or warm. We’ve noticed that they are selective on who’s afforded a warm welcome.
I don’t mind that their prices have increased tremendously, but at least they should’ve maintained the quality of their food and portion sizes. I was there yesterday with my oldest son. We ordered my usual 8 piece dumplings, Chicken tenders for my son and what was supposed to be a large fries to share. The $6.99 dumplings were inedible after first bite, their $3.99 large tempura fries were room temperature and had shrunk to the size of a small portion at any fast food chain. The lady brought out the tenders with ranch dressing, but we preferred ketchup instead. She appeared visibly annoyed by that request and uttered something to the gentleman behind the counter in another language.
I wanted to let them know how displeased we were, but my son said that the best way of letting them know, was by not patronizing them moving forward. I spent $19+ and went home hungry! They’re receiving one star only because my son’s tenders were decent...

Baos has always been Asia's comfort food. For those of you that have never had a bao, which is short for baozi and pronounced like taking a bow. It's basically a white bread-like yeast that is normally served as balls that are either served by themselves or stuffed with all kinds of goodies. When you hear about eating baos, you're probably thinking they're small and you need to order a lot, but it's pretty filling due to the amount of stuff they put in each bao.
The baos at Baozi are basically an Asian version of small tacos that are filled with delicious fillings. If you want traditional baos then this is not the place for you, but if you want to try some Asian fusion baos, Baozi is where it's at. Very cool twist to a favorite meaty morsel!
First off, this place is TINY - not for people with claustrophobia. Expected the place to be more grand but its more of like a small cozy place with tables of 2 and 4.
Buns galore! You can choose to have the combo's of 2 ($7.99), or 3 buns ($9.99). The 3 buns option seemed the most appealing and worth the deal. Each combo includes a fountain drink and a choice of fries...
Read moreTalk about some good baos. Honestly you can find a lot of places that serve baos these days but not too many of them focus just on it.
This place isn't much too look at from the outside and it's kind of out of the way for a lot of folks to drive to but it's definitely worth the journey to get to it.
They offer several different baos. Some traditional like roast pork and duck and some fusion like curry chicken. All priced reasonably and they are not as small as you might think. Eating 2 could easily fill you up.
Best options in my opinion are the pick 2 and pick 3 baos combos that come with a drink and your choice of sides.
This is specialty shop and they prepare each of the baos by hand. Presentation wise it's definitely on point. None of the baos look like they were just thrown together in a hurry and baos themselves are solid and don't just fall a part and make a mess when you bite into it.
If only this place was a bit closer to me. I wouldn't mind making it a regular spot. Great food and I would recommend this place to anyone.
