4/7/24 Very much like the updated colors, tables, chairs, etc. The service was as good as always and the food wonderful. Still have an issue with the french fries, but other than that it is still top marks!

Pollo la brasa here is still the very best! Sadly, they still do not seem to understand how to double fry the potatoes so the French Fries are crispy. Have always gotten great service here whether eating in or taking out. Pollo la brasa (rotisserie chicken) is fantastic! We call ahead and ask when they will be ready and let them know we are coming.

Our every couple months Sunday morning breakfast we make arrangements for in bulk: fried pork, little French breads, fried sweet potato slices, marinated onions, a few Peruvian tamales, and bottles of cold Inca Cola. (I could put all that in Spanish, but then it may not make sense for those not knowing Spanish. And Inca Cola is a real thing... was bought by Coke years back and is a featured taste at World...

It’s sad to leave a bad review because the food here is delicious, however the customer service is so poor!

I called to order my food at 9am and it seemed like the lady putting in the order was new on top of sounding rude. I made sure to repeat my order just in case and she confirmed (3 tamal combos and 1 lurin combo). I arrived at 9:30am and my order was incomplete .. there was no lurin combo just a tamal.

I asked how long it would take and she said 20 extra minutes, so i decided to cancel it and just make it 4 tamal combos (tamal, onion and bread). Not sure why it took 10 extra minutes but the new girl finally came out with my order and said my total. While my card was processing i asked if i could break my $5 ... so i could leave her tip and she slammed the dollars on the counter.

I get home and guess what? All my combos were incomplete! I called to explain my experience and all she said was “what do you want me to do about it? I asked and they said we can’t do anything” in such a rude tone.

In the end our whole meal was incomplete and how embarrassing that family that was out of town had to experience such rudeness.

Llamé para pedir mi comida a las 9 am y parecía que la señora que hacía el pedido era nueva además de sonar grosera. Me aseguré de repetir mi pedido por si acaso y ella confirmó (3 combos de tamal y 1 combo de lurín). Llegué a las 9:30 am y mi pedido estaba incompleto ... no había combo de lurin solo un tamal.

Le pregunté cuánto tiempo tomaría y ella dijo 20 minutos extra, así que decidí cancelarlo y hacer 4 combinaciones de tamal (tamal, cebolla y pan). No estoy seguro de por qué tomó 10 minutos adicionales, pero la nueva chica finalmente salió con mi pedido y dijo mi total. Mientras se procesaba mi tarjeta, le pregunté si podía romper mis $ 5 ... para poder dejar su propina y ella arrojó los dólares en el mostrador.

Llego a casa y ¿adivinen qué? ¡Todos mis combos estaban incompletos! Llamé para explicar mi experiencia y todo lo que dijo fue “¿qué quieres que haga? Pregunté y me dijeron que no podíamos hacer nada "en un tono tan grosero.

Al final, toda nuestra comida estuvo incompleta y qué vergüenza que mi familia que no es de aquí tuviera que pasar tan...

Unfortunately this place has disappointed me time and time again. I genuinely try to support small businesses and I ABSOLUTELY love Peruvian cuisine ( world renowned cuisine), but the level of unkept space is ridiculous. I purchased a flan as well and it was (1) mislabeled and (2) so dry and an egregious representation of the dessert. Tables were kept dirty, trash on the floor, and overall lack of attention to cleanliness. My hope is that they read this feedback and improve. I’d love to retract this post. Also they didn’t have the lunch specials up until after I ordered. I was there within the lunch...
