Larry Bobe's Pizza — Restaurant in Lawrenceville

I've been coming to this Bobe's Pizza for a long time. It's one of my parent's favorite places to eat. We always came along but I was always bothered that I had to go by the ATM before we left town, that they served food and drinks with Styrofoam plates and cups, and their refusal to take credit cards.

It's only recently that those things have slowly changed and other improvements have been made. First, the plate and cup situation is much better! They added wifi (guest access available) and take orders with tablets. They added vegan meats and cheese. Unbelievably, they are now accepting card payments! That is some serious progress for an awesome little pizza place that seemed to be set in their ways. We really appreciate all the changes!

The food has always been ridiculously good but I never liked going before. I never would have thought Bobe's would add vegan options. Actually, they're the only place around that is offering so much vegan. I actually prefer vegetable pizzas and am not sold on vegan cheese so I order cheeseless most of the time. But hey, I'm sure other vegans and people with food allergies are ordering that stuff! I'd love to get those breadsticks and red sauce (with the spice) in vegan form too. I loved that red sauce but I believe it has dairy in it.

My mom and I had dinner there last night. I told the waitress about my food allergy and she said no problem, they take that very serious. Really glad they take that kind of care in the kitchen.

When we got in, we noticed every table had been taken so we figured we would just get our pizza to go and just wait for them to finish it and take it back to our camper. The lady said that if we wanted she could go ahead and put the order in and if a table became available we could take it and they'd bring it out to us. She took our order and handed us our drinks, they use to go cups so no worries on spillage! A table came open fairly quickly so we sat and they wiped it off for us (dishes had already been removed). Within just a few minutes our breadsticks came out and a few minutes more so did the pizzas! Very friendly, fast service and highly recommend this to anyone! Great improvements over the past few years as the grandson has taken over. Food is delicious and the many new additions to the menu are terrific! The roast beef is yummy! I appreciate the “not so soggy” pizza serving trays they just got! Not a fan of the plastic cups but I do like that they are to-go cups! Clean, small restaurant with booths and tables. The dessert cinnamon pizza and icing is so good! Online ordering, a phone waiting service, and texting system have been recently added and nice convenience for customers.
