Versace Dominican Restaurant is an absolute gem, offering an authentic and flavorful Dominican dining experience that left a lasting impression. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the hostess and immediately seated. The ambiance was inviting, with lively music playing in the background, creating a vibrant yet comfortable atmosphere. The decor featured beautiful Dominican-inspired artwork and warm lighting that enhanced the overall dining experience.
Our server, Jade, was exceptional from start to finish. She greeted us with a bright smile and a friendly demeanor, making us feel welcome and valued as customers. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she took the time to explain various dishes and offer recommendations based on our preferences. It was evident that she genuinely enjoyed her job and took pride in providing excellent service. She checked in on us at just the right moments, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive.
The food at Versace Dominican Restaurant was nothing short of spectacular. We started with the empanadas, which were crispy on the outside and perfectly seasoned inside. The beef filling was rich and flavorful, and the accompanying dipping sauce added a delightful kick. For our main course, we ordered the Mofongo with shrimp and the Churrasco steak. The Mofongo was a standout dish—garlicky, well-seasoned, and mashed to perfection, with the shrimp adding a delicious contrast in texture. The Churrasco steak was cooked exactly to our requested doneness, juicy and bursting with flavor. It was served with a chimichurri sauce that elevated the dish even further.
The sides were just as impressive. The tostones were crispy and fresh, while the rice and beans had that authentic home-cooked taste that made us feel like we were enjoying a meal straight from the Dominican Republic. The portions were generous, ensuring that we left the restaurant fully satisfied.
To round out our meal, we decided to indulge in dessert. We ordered the Tres Leches cake, which was moist, perfectly sweet, and had just the right balance of milk flavors soaking through. It was a decadent end to an already outstanding meal. Paired with a fresh passionfruit juice, it was the perfect combination to cleanse the palate.
What truly set Versace Dominican Restaurant apart was the combination of exceptional food and outstanding service. Jade’s attentiveness and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable, and we could tell that the entire staff took great pride in ensuring their guests had a memorable dining experience.
The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, with restrooms that were spotless—a detail that doesn’t go unnoticed. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the food and service. Whether you're a fan of Dominican cuisine or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is a must-visit.
Overall, our experience at Versace Dominican Restaurant was phenomenal. We will definitely be returning and recommending it to friends and family. If you’re looking for an authentic, delicious, and welcoming Dominican dining experience, this is the place to be. Five stars all around!

Read moreSuch an unpleasant experience this evening. This was our 1st time attending this restaurant. Husband and son ordered a NY steak and a churrasco mar y tierra steak cooked medium. When the steaks come out my sons is over cooked and had nothing but fat on it, as we tell our server Genesis the steak is over cooked she takes the plate w/out an apology or any reassurance only to come back and inform us that was the last ny steak the restaurant had?!? and if we wanted any other steak. We said no and luckily ordered my son a side of fries due to not being able to substitute his mash potatoes for FRENCH FRIES because the cook is unwilling to make any substitutes on any meals (manager and waitresses words after asking) As soon as my husband takes a shrimp onto his fork he notices there is a hair on it and continues to recall our server , as we call our server she looks at the piece of shrimp and again doesn’t apologize nor makes any response and takes the plate towards the standing manager near the front, as the manager comes by his only response is “ there was a hair in your food”? How weird, and makes us feel as if we are the issue. My husband asked for the same meal to be re cooked. Once his food comes out the shrimp on top look like they were cooked for 1 minuete they had no char as the ones on his 1st plate did , disappointed and hungry my husband attempted to just eat his food rather than to see our careless servers face. As we ask for our check this is the only time where we she apologizes and says “ sorry about your food but it’s not my fault”. With me being a server for years I 100% know it’s not her fault and tipped her as if everything went perfectly , BUT I also know that your tip is based on your service, so when something goes wrong in your table you try your hardest to make everything else around that issue to be as pleasant as possible and make your customer feel valued and cared for , Check for refills, ask everyone else if there ok, and how they’re food is, and come with a smile but her nor the manager did anything to make up for the issue. If anything they stared at us like if we were a problematic table. Ended paying $92.16 for 2 meals a side of FF and our drinks. And to top it off it was my bday dinner. It is a shame because this restaurant is decorated beautifully, had a great live salsa band but no looks or ambiance makes up for a sour taste in your mouth. The manager looks very clueless in how to run this restaurant and if they want it to be successful the owner should come in and start paying attention to his customers and make them feel valued to spend they’re hard earned money in his establishment. It is not a very big restaurant and multiple times there were servers standing doing nothing along with the manager, YOU HAD THE TIME to make it up and looked clueless! Not looking for a free meal or a discount but a SINCERE apology would have made a huge difference and sadly we didn’t receive any of the 3. We Will def NOT...
Read moreWhat a crap place! This is the second time we go there and not by choice comma we had a birthday party to attend. First time we went the food and service was not good. The second time we went same thing, even worse. We attended my friends birthday party which was an entire other issue she had with the manager. We ordered 2 plates of the ribs and fries... both ribs where cold on the inside like if they came out of the refrigerator. They took it back to "reheat" it. We order 2 plates of the margarita chicken and mofongo. Super gross the chicken was cubed like the precooked store bought chicken from a store. It was all covered it a bright orange sauce that looked and tasted just like nacho cheese from a movie theater. Disgusting!! I had a few people try it and they all agreed. It was about 90 degrees in the resturant the entire time. All the other guests and even waitress where fanning themselves. We asked the manager to at least open the patio door to let air in. He said no because then " the cold air would escape " we said there was no cold air anywhere! A few of the guests from the party mentioned it was also very hot the last time they came. Even the bathroom was like an oven. What a shame a new resturant that is suppose to preform at is best. Is cutting corners and being cheap with food and the comfort of their guest. I will not be going back here. Everyone from the party also had their own bad experiences that day and said they will not...
