Did a little research on this place before going, but when I received the bill, boy was I surprised! Bland food and weak Texas margaritas. On top of that 18% gratuity had gratuitously been added to my bill. I go out to eat almost everyday and this is the first time I've ever seen gratuity being added when I'm the only person being served. I asked the server if it was customary and she said yes. I wondered if I was the only person charged and immediately started doing a little investigating. (I'm a black guy). I spoke with others from another table across the room who informed me that they were not charged gratuity on their bill and also said that if it were him he would tell someone about it.

(Caucasian) I then went to the manager to inform him about my discovery and he said it was not true and indeed everyone who eats at the restaurant gets charged. I decided to investigate further and this time I asked the people at the table sitting behind me the same. I was told by them that they weren't charged gratuity either. They also told me the food was mediocre and I agreed. As I was speaking to the other guests the manager briskly walked to the table asking if everything was ok (admission of guilt). I proceeded to the front asking for an explanation but again I was lied to about how the computer auto charges that and I don't really have to pay her a tip if I didn't want to. What? I wanted to pay her a larger tip. He was missing the point.

I asked his name it was Armando. He stated "You have a problem." Me? No your restaurant does. Why prejudge someone because of the color of their skin and automatically assume they wouldn't tip? Why not take accountability for what was done? Zero customer service skills. I actually thought he had good customer service, since he checked periodically on all the tables up to now. This really does not sit well with me. I'm still not feeling well from the mal treatment received.

Did I leave a tip? Of course. Regardless of how being treated I always do. They don't get paid to do what they do. I also was a server all through college. I tipped over and beyond 18% just to prove a point. Never judge a book by its cover. You never know who you're really dealing with and everyone should be treated the same especially when they are good paying guests. I spoke up about this in hopes that it never happens to a black person again. I'm almost positive this is not the first time it's happened. Maybe they'll think twice about doing this again. It does not feel good and it...

So third time's a charm is my motto. I visited once in 2016, once in 2017, and this is my 2018 and last time here.

The service is slow. In the past it's always beeb like 10-15 minutes before anyone even offers water. Each time I've been like "new year, new service", well definitely not the case. Today: I sat at 12:04 and wasn't waited on until 12:11. So that was annoying.

The attitudes with the waitress sucks. (I feel like she's the only one that works here. I get her everytime. I was ordered off the lunch menu where everything is 5.95... I just wanted a veggie burrito she informed me that all the food on the lunch menu has to have beef in it. I ask you can't just get vegetables? She says no, if you want vegetables only you can order off the other menu and pay 7.99. So, vegetables cost more than ground beef? I'm confused. When I ask she has this attitude like this a normal thing.

Anyway, it was my last attempt at seeing if they could get it together. I will go down the street from now on to get my mexiacan fix. It's sad because they were just a walk around the...

We ordered the Nacho Supreme and two orders of one taco one burrito and one enchilada from grubhub. The salsa and chips that came with the order was good. The Nachos Supreme was also good. No complaints at all there. Now let's get to the one taco one burrito and one enchilada. The taco was good however we stated in the note we wanted it soft and it did not come that way. No big deal. The burrito and enchilada however was not good at all. They put some kind of red pasta sauce (my husband thinks it's marinara. I think it's some kind of tomato sauce.) on them. You could smell it as soon as you open the box. I do not know if this was a mistake or this is something that they do. The queso in the meal tasted like absolutely nothing. We have ordered this same type of meal from other places and never have they put this type of sauce over it. It tasted like ravioli sauce from a can of Chef Boyardee. Really was hoping for a better experience. Will not be ordering from there again. Going back to...

Extremely fast customer service and great environment very authentic ( beautiful waitress) and a HUUUGEEEE BAR and music playing constantly !!! Food was pretty…different very thick salsa verde made in house yum!! But the most interesting thing is the birrea consome had rice in it … never in my 30 years of living in Mexico have I seen that before but it was very yummy and the taco was nice and crunchy but still taste so soft and cheesy and delicious…. Ask for Michael to take your order and you will get a free meal!

Been coming here since we moved into the area back in 1996. This family restaurant has been incredible every time we have visited. Yesterday we visited once again and are always greeted with smiles, hugs and handshakes. The beer is cold, tacos and chips hit the spot but the real winner is the sizzling fajitas. The serving size always makes me think, can I eat it all or do I take some home. Be sure to check out this long time standard on the Grayson Hwy in Lawrenceville.
