What happened to Customer service? I just moved back to Lawton to take care of my Mother who will be 70 years young this year but she has Cancer. Mom likes ice but all she can enjoy these days is the very small Sonic Ice. I always bought it by the bag at the Sonic on Sheridan or on Cache. Unfortunately there both closed now. So I called the Sonic on Lee (2 times) and asked if they use the regular Small Sonic ice and both times they said yes, the normal Sonic crushed Ice. So as soon as I could I drove over and bought 2 bags. I gave the girl my normal 2 dollar tip, stuck the bags in my ice chest and hurried back to Mom. She was looking forward to the ice, as was I! Got home and pulled the bags out, and its the large ice you would find at any other fast food place.. Of course we were disappointed but I called the Sonic and asked to speak to the manager who sounded like he was 15, attitude and all. I simply told him if someone ask about there ice, it's NOT the normal Sonic ice. He seemed agitated like I was "bothering" him and basically didnt say anything. No apology nothing. How do you mess up a plain cheese burger (just meat bread and cheese)? How do you confuse a coke float for a vanilla shake? How do you demand a tip (paying with card), not allowing the customer to select "no tip"? Then when the time goes out - the screen regarding a tip - is still on there and the payment that was placed does not go through, I better not get charged twice. Read moreI ordered the large bacon toaster with no onions. They stated that it comes with an onion ring. We stated "no onions". By the time I got my order I got a small tot and a bacon toaster WITH onions. Pushed the button and explained what was wrong and they wanted to charge us again for it. We told them we had the order and it was wrong. As we were waiting for my order, my buddy had onions on his burger. It was ordered without onions. That would be zero right orders out of two. I would say piss poor training leads to piss poor performance. My recommendation would be a reading and customer service test.
