We stopped in LeMars for the Blue Bunny ice cream visitor center, then learned of Wise I as the location for Theology on Tap during Mass. We couldn't leave town without sampling another of my favorite things on my Birthday...๐Ÿ˜‰ There was nothing spectacular about the exterior (see picture), but the selection of beer was great (see picture) as was the service. If you enjoy a variety of really good beers & ciders you have to give the 100th Brewery in Iowa and the only one in LeMars a try. Nice atmosphere and fun staff. They don't serve food but they've had food trucks on Friday's and there are plenty of places close by to order food from for delivery. Sept 13, 2019 Grand Opening.

What an absolutely amazing environment. Friendly and knowledgeable staffs, great beer selection, and that fun small town IA vibe. After chatting with the beertender Dan, we got a tour of the brewing process and it was truly a great experience all around. Will gladly be back to enjoy a Wise I brew again soon! Cheers!

Excellent beer! I tried 4 of the beers they brew and all 4 are excellent. Being a beer brewing guy myself, I don't easily or lightly use the word excellent when it comes to craft beers. Let's face it, there are a lot of very good craft beers out there, but very few make the jump from very good to excellent. See for yourself! Stop in and try their beer. You will not be disappointed at all. The staff and the atmosphere fit perfectly with a craft brewery. All in all, these folks knocked the ball out of the park! 2nd trip to Le Mars in the last 2 years and we make sure to visit. Today's hidden gem is the Pistachio Cream Ale. It is only brewed once a year towards the end of summer. It's November 9th and still available so lucky me! Excellent flavor profile & only the 2nd time I've seen a brewery offer a pistachio cream ale.
