The staff is Great however, whoever the manager was today, decided to change the price of the margarita that I always get to $9 instead of the $7.25 that I have always been charged. It is a small frozen Rita with a float of Grand Marne on top. Which I was charged a grand gold Rita price for. (Grand Gold= Grand Marne and Jose Cuervo Gold which is a standard top shelf Rita) considering the frozen house Rita with a floater of grand Marne seemed to be equal price, it made 100% sense that the entire staff charged me for this Rita all the time, for months. I’ve been in the restaurant industry for over a decade and I completely understand how inventory works and all I have to say is, I tried explaining to manager that he was wrong and the staff was right, his ego got in the way and he wasn’t listening and insisted letting me know that the Rita was going to be $9 from here on out. I’m never coming back. We came in here every week and spent close to $200 weekly, whether that be by myself or with my family, but I can assure you, we won’t be back. I tipped the serve a lot because I knew that it wasn’t his fault, the manager was just being unreasonable. Sorry San Lorenzos, whoever you’re manager was this morning on 09/18/20 made y’all lose some valuable customers because of his terrible judge of pricing for the drinks, especially since he decided to change the price after I had paid out and tipped my bartender, what a jerk. You have no right to treat your...
Read moreWe've lived just down the street from this place for about a year and hadn't stopped in because of the 3 stars on Yelp, after going last night for the first time I can honestly say...ya'll crazy! We walked and were seated immediately, blinked, and boom chips and salsa. Blink again and boom menus, silverware, and drink specials. Wait is that my margarita I hadn't even gotten the full word out yet! We ordered Guacamole, cameronas a la plancha, and Chile rellenos. All were tasty, hot and fresh. Another margarita, yes! Shrimp were fantastic and grilled perfectly, my only gripe would be I wished they'd peeled them before grilling but whatever they tasted great! Rellenos we very good, stuffed full with steak. Now time for dessert! Nachos al carbon, with a huge pile of jalapenos! Another margarita? Si, Alfonso uno mas! Nachos were simple, but yeah, its because they're nachos. Hot, cheesy, tons of steak and a whopping dollop of guacamole...perfect! I wanted more but at some point you've gotta stop. Ok, ok, ok...uno mas margarita Alfonso! Service 5 stars, drinks 5 stars, prices 5 stars, food 5 stars! This isn't a fancy pants tie and jacket place but good, fresh food at very fair prices. Glad we tried it and that it's so close to our house. See you on Thursday for Happy...
Read moreOutside there's a quiet, wonderfully breezy and cozy covered patio with beautiful potted plants and traditional decor so when we went into the restaurant we asked if we could sit there to enjoy our dinner. Of course, no problems she said. However, if you intend on receiving reliable service, don’t sit outside and expect any. We had to go inside to place and pick up our drink order. Back inside again to ask for condiments, again for refills and again to get our own to-go boxes so we could take our dinner home to heat it up. It wasn't only us that didn't receive attention, they didn't even pay attention to the other couple that they themselves seated outside, they had to also ask for service. The service and food are usually excellent. However, this time it was cold enchiladas and soggy tacos that you had to eat with your fork. The stuffed jalapeños were hot and great! It was as if they had completely forgotten about having an outdoor dining area and left everything inside until all of a sudden it just clicked to someone where it belonged. We really do like San Lorenzo and will try again but please try to pay attention to all of your customers. It would be greatly...
