Very disappointed, wish I could give 0 stars. We went there yesterday for takeout, I had forgotten that the past several times we had been unhappy with the food. We had 2 subs and breaded mushrooms. The mushrooms tasted like they were leftovers and not even fully cooked. The seafood sub was subpar, very thin, mostly lettuce; and the rolls were stale. Sad that $30 for food we tossed out. I believe this will be our last time wasting money here. I grew up on A&M, and always praised their cheesesteaks, subs and pretty much everything as delicious. The past 5-10 years though the quality has dropped drastically. This one was the last A&M that had anything good to offer, and that has become but a memory. I am tired of rolling over and accepting poor quality food as acceptable. Food prices are on the rise, so even $30-$50 for takeout is a treat. Getting cheese steaks made from Steakums or the like; Imitation seafood; and stale rolls as well as overpriced appetizers you can buy at Costco in the freezer section (take home and pop in the air fryer for a fraction of the cost), makes A&M now just a memory of what was once a good restaurant, and no longer will visit again. I am tired of accepting this "stuff" as good quality. RIP A&M, once a place we visited regularly, now just a fond childhood memory. I would like to add that we would drive from Lancster, just for A&M... or at least, we did, and will no longer waste our time,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe. Best. This place is an hour out of my way and it's worth every cent of precious fuel to get there. First of all, the fries. They taste like I took a trip back to the early 90s before fast food places went health crazy. In other words, you need these fries in your life. Now. Secondly, the pizza. Homemade bread, quality cheese, and perfectly seasoned not-too-sweet (you know what I'm talking about) sauce. I saw a review on here that said the bread wasn't fully cooked, but it's probably because of the fresh cheese and sauce on this deliciousness that causes a slight sogginess to the dough. I know, I've made a few hundred pizzas, and I only wish I could make one that tastes this good. Thirdly, the sandwiches. They are made with the same dough as the pizza and the ingredients are fresh. Before I went I had yet to find a steak sandwich that would rival my own perfected recipe, and theirs made me rethink ways I could make it even better. The depth of flavor here could rival that of any sandwich place on the eastern coast hands down. A definite must when visiting Lebanon, PA. P. S. Sorry there aren't any pics, the food didn't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe ordered from here because my daughter wanted to try it as there is one near her. Worst pizza we've had since we moved here two years ago. We ordered some stromboli to try that as well. I realize we live in processed meat land, but it's not that hard to do a good vegetarian pizza. Hint, don't just dump a load of steamed broccoli on it. I love broccoli, but if i do have some on my pizza I make, I at least cut it up. Crust was uninspired, sauce was almost non-existent, and the entire thing was flavorless. The stromboli that was cheese and sauce was a bit better, at least it had flavor. The vegetable stromboli was a lot of broccoli stuffed in a lackluster bread shell. We spent well over $100 giving this place a try, and didn't even get the drinks we ordered with our meal. On a more positive note, this inspired me to look up some of the pizza places we used to purchase from on the west coast and try to recreate the ones we loved and that was really successful, so I'll be skipping the pizza joints in Lebanon, especially this one, and...
