Amazing Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Lebanon

I had a noodle dish, which was fine, nothing special and my husband had one of their duck dishes, which was very good. So food wise this place is pretty good. The service was absolutely horrible though, cant even call it service. this place states its open until 9pm. i dont think they want you to come in any later than 8 though, so if you want to be remotely treated like a valued customer, come in before 8. this was our first time here, we are very busy with our jobs and 2-year-old, so we didnt make it in any earlier than 8:20. The entire time we were hurried along, the server didnt waste 2 words on us. he eventually just threw some to-go boxes on our table we hadnt even asked for so we packed up our meal and took it home to finish it there. we may get take out from here again but we will NEVER eat in again. post a f*ing sign that the kitchen closes at 8 or only cooks take-out after, but dont treat paying...

Ordered pickup over the phone, got their Drunken Noodles (pad kee mao) with pork, it was ready in 15 minutes (5pm Monday night). Walked in to a space that was very clean, marble vibes, understated cultural elegance, quiet jazz music playing. Looking forward to dining in, in future. The person who helped me was quiet and handled the transaction perfectly. And the FOOD!! I had been craving this dish for the past several days, and it hit the spot with every bite. I didn't even know I was congested, but I'm not anymore! The noodles were chewy (just right), the pork was tender, the vegetables were just done. The spice from the chilis was balanced with the sweet flavor and holy basil; I could write a sonnet about the way my lips are burning up...

I come to Lebanon for work every week and have been trying to find I nice place like this. I just had the red curry, and it was great! This place gets only three stars because the service was horrible!!! Young fellow never asked if I needed anything, gave me the check and when I asked if I could have another ice tea he acted put out because that ment that he would have to redo the check!?! I mean come on guy, shouldn't you be trying to sell me more and be nice? Kinda put a damper on the experience to say the least. Place is clean and cute atmosphere, and like I said great food. I will be returning because of these aspects and hopefully this guy was just having a bad day and the next time it will be a five...
