Bella's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Lebanon

I was working in Lebanon, New Jersey and I asked our wonderful customer where is a good local and non-chain place to eat. It was a Monday afternoon around 03:00 PM and many places ere closed on Monday. After some thought, he recommended Bella's Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant which was less than 4.0 miles away. Bella's Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant is a simple, casual, and cozy eatery with great food and their own line of beverages. They have a decent sized menu that has something for everyone. You can have a delicious meal coupled with warm, friendly, and attentive customer service. The establishment is definitely a popular place with the locals and it is definitely a refreshing change from the chains! The proprietors, Selvin and Thelma are very welcoming and friendly. From what I witnessed, they prepare a lot of orders for take out and it looks like it can get very busy there.

Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by both Selvin and Thelma. He was very friendly, pleasant, professional, and he had a genuine smile. I ordered three Grandma corner slices with pepperoni to stay and two slice without pepperoni to go. I had a bottle of their own Lemonade as well as a bottle of their Black Cherry soda. Thelma was very sweet and she smiled and told me to have a seat and that she would serve my order. The Grandma corner slices with Pepperoni were so good and I ate all three of them. Upon my first bite, I could immediately tell that they make there own pizza sauce! They also use high quality fresh mozzarella on their Grandma Slices as well.

Moreover, Thelma served the three slices on two real plates and not the typical white paper plates- which was a very nice change. In addition, they had well stocked napkin dispensers on each table which is something that is slowly fading away. The pizza was delicious, prepared, and baked to perfection, and the slices were served hot. Selvin and Thelma were very attentive, friendly, and happy to help with a few questions that I had! In short, the delicious food and awesome customer service made for a great dinning experience! My wife and I had the remaining two Grandma slices the following morning for breakfast. The pizza was really good and with question is prepared with love! I will definitely be returning here when I am in the Lebanon, New Jersey area to try some of their other pizza slices, menu items,...

I just discovered my favorite local pizza joint in Jersey. My coworker took me here, and he said a lot of people from our office building come here even though there are other pizza places closer to our office. What really sets this place apart from the rest is the different specialty pizzas that are full of flavor, and the crust with a balance of being crispy on the outside and just the right amount of softness in the inside. For the specialty pizzas, they are excellent. I recommend the chipotle chicken, the chicken quesadilla, and the stuffed meat. There are others I’ve not had yet, so I’m looking forward trying those. For the purists, the plain cheese, the pepperoni, and the sausage are also delicious with the crust really completing that full pizza flavor. But why be so standard when there’s quite a bit of variety of yummy specialty pizzas. The people who work there are super nice, and the price is right. We’ve been ordering from this place for over two years now. The last 6 times they have just completely failed on our order. This is supposed to be an extra cheese, half pepperoni. This is full pepperoni, and quite honestly looks like it was sitting out in one of their windows all day and heated up, instead of making it fresh like you should when someone orders. We’ve asked them every time to bake it light because they always over cook or burn it. I’ve never complained until now. This is absolutely ridiculous. I won’t be ordering from here again. Time to explore other options, you should too.
