My friends and I were really looking forward to trying out Kristi’s Cafe for lunch, and at first, things seemed promising. The service was great when we first arrived — our server was attentive, and our milkshakes were great. However, once our food arrived, the experience took a sharp turn for the worse.
The portions were extremely small for the prices. One of my friends paid around $20 for a burger and it came with barely a handful of fries (about 12). When he politely asked for more fries, our server’s attitude immediately changed. She said she needed to speak with the manager, and we watched her walk over to someone who turned out to be the owner, Kristi.
Instead of coming over and acknowledging the issue, Kristi ignored us for about 5–7 minutes. When she finally approached our table, she passive aggressively asked if everything was okay (no mention of the request) and walked off before we could properly respond. Another 5–10 minutes later, she returned with a tiny saucer of maybe 7 fries and just threw/ dumped them onto my friend’s plate without saying a word.
When we got the check, my friend asked if she was the manager, which is when we found out she was actually the owner. He explained how poorly the situation had been handled, and she was extremely snarky, denied everything, and took no responsibility for her/ her restaurant's poor actions.
It’s really disappointing to be treated this way by the owner of a restaurant. The entire situation could have been resolved with basic professionalism and courtesy, but instead, we were dismissed and disrespected. We definitely won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend Kristi’s Cafe to anyone who values...
Read moreA visit to Kristi's 50's Cafe isn't just a meal, it's like stepping back into the days of yesteryear. The second you walk in the first thing you notice is the black and white checkered floor and the 50's decor. The jukebox playing the 50's tunes really takes you back in time and creates an experience that you won't forget.
The music is good and the food is great. High quality food that tastes like it was made at home. This isn't fast food folks, this is REAL food. You won't leave hungry or dissatisfied.

Read moreWe had decided to have a reunion with some cousins. It was a nice venue to have it. Cool "retro" vibe in Kristi's. 50's music, lots of pictures of 50's cars, Coke signs, it was cute. The back room is quite large and had plenty of seats for our group of 12. The service was awesome, very nice wait staff. The food was good, and HUGE portions. I took half home in a container. The prices were ok for such large portions and great service. We all enjoyed our lunch, and truly enjoyed our time together. We were there for a couple of hours and were never bothered or hurried out. My only complaint would be parking. It is street...
