The grilled tenderloins were 5 star all the way. I nice piece of lightly seasoned pork trimmed of fat and gristle. I like it a bit thicker but it was still delicious and still moist. A nice bun that held together. Add the toms and lettuce and it was a very good sandwich. The breaded tenderloin was a bit greasy. The pork is hand pounded and in some places was thick and juicy and other places too thin for the amount of breading. There were definitely some 5 start bites in there. The onion rings were really greasy. nice thick bits of onion. but could only eat 2 due to the greasiness. The fries were the frozen type but nice with a bit of crisp and soft and potatoey on the inside. Unfortunately everything was in styrofoam so lose half a point for not using something...
Read moreClassic diner experience. Glad we tried this place. It is in the rear of Cowan's Drug Store. It felt nostalgic. Our waitress was great. She said everything was scratch made and locally sourced whenever possible. Prices were excellent, and we really liked our menu choices.
The burger was made to order and was delicious. Highly recommended. Also ordered the Diet Plate with grilled tenderloin. Great low-carb choice and tasted great. It includes a large piece of tenderloin, hard boiled egg, tomato slices, onions, cottage cheese and peaches. We each had a slice of home made butterscotch meringue pie. It tasted like sugar cream pie! All for $22.
Other diners had the tenderloin sandwiches, and they were huge! Other diners loved their food too.
Looking forward to...

There was a crowd but we were helped quickly with our takeout order. The only negative is they messed up our order. They definitely dont have vegetarian options, just FYI, but they say they do. And to be fair to them i can understand the confusion. The gravy has large chunks of sausage in it, but they count it as vegetarian. I guess because its considered a seasoning and not like an outright...
