I love the track kitchen for breakfast. The owners and staff are great. The prices are too low for the quality. The place is almost a hidden gem in Lebanon. The following is going to sound negative, it is not, it is the charm of the place. It is your typical hole in the wall with great food. The dining room is rather small, and often crowded. It is seat yourself. If you need a high chair for kids, go through the door at the back and find one in the fairgrounds barn (the restaurant occupies the front portion of a fair building). The chair will not be too far back. My kids love the Mickey Mouse pancakes. My wife swears their biscuits and gravy are the best. I love their omelets and potatoes. If you were going to knock it for anything, the restrooms are not great, and at the other end of the building, through that same door. One additional reminder, they only take cash, so go prepared, there is...
Read moreIf you have an hour to spare sitting on top of other people, at a cheap, broken table , then this is your spot. You can barely move in the place, you can almost taste the next tables food. Service is beyond slow, I watched one plate at a time come out. They tried to sit me at a table with strangers, uh no. They said he’s really nice. No. It’s difficult to sit, order, pay, the whole place is a disaster. I watched people get their food ten minutes before others at their table. Whoever decided this person should run a restaurant should be run out of town. Prices are cheap, it matches the whole experience. Servers chat with customers while good sits in the window. They brought me some of my order for some reason and I waited ten minutes for the rest. The food was decent, definitely not made by someone who’s been trained to cook.
I wanted to support a local business, this...
Read moreWalk in and you go back a bit in time. Some 4 top round tables and 2 top booths. The place reminds me of places in my youth that were not fancy, a bit worn, but good. Family run for 30 years, the service was ok. I sat by myself in the middle of the place so I was hard to miss. Once I ordered, "Mom" brought my coffee and my order followed about 10 minutes later. The place was just over half full in mid-morning. Although the prices seem cheap, you could spend 8-10 dollars depending on your appetite for breakfast. The kitchen is visible from the dining area so you can see where your food is prepared. Mine was prepared a bit overdone, but still tasty. Yes,the place could use some cleaning in places, but they have a health dept sticker in full view. Worth a visit if you are...
