Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Leesburg

Had to work late with my wife so we decided I would run and pick up some Popeyes for dinner. It was around 7:00 pm. I went inside and ordered the 2 can dine for $10.99. It was a coupon they had on their website. Went in and was immediately asked by the MOD if it was for take out or dine in. I asked for take out and showed my coupon. I said "I would like spicy, all white meat please". He stated there would be an upcharge for all white meat, which I agreed to. Although they had no other customers at the time, their racks were fully stocked with chicken and lots of it. My order was put together very quickly and I asked for honey and blackened ranch. (Honey for the biscuits and we LOVE to dip our chicken in the blackened ranch). The young man that was also up front grabbed a large handful of honey and tossed it in the bag (It was A LOT of honey for just 2 biscuits) and the MOD reached in the cooler and threw one blackened ranch in the bag. I politely asked for a second one and he informed me that he was "running low". I said "well I've purchased a dinner for two people and I'll need one more". He said he had to save them for the "tenders customers" because "they really like it on their tenders". I said "look, I'll pay for it". He said "no, those tenders customers get real mad when we don't have it". I just said "Bro, I'm a customer that's standing right here and you're not out of the blackened ranch, that's just ridiculous". I turned and I left with my one blackened ranch. I drove 2 minutes back to work and we started eating the shriveled, dried out, luke warm chicken that had obviously sat under a heat lamp for far too long. Thanks Popeyes for yet ANOTHER fine dining experience. When your stuff is right, it's FANTASTIC... but when it's not, it's just a waste of my hard earned money, you know, like...

Stopped in today 1/10. Service is STILL excellent, the staff is so welcoming! All of our food was cooked perfectly! Thank you for maintaining your high standards of service. We've been to a few other Popeyes recently and have been extremely disappointed. Keep up the great work! 🙏

Just wanted to update last reviews. We stopped in tonight, had the 3 pc tender combo and 3 piece chicken combo. Everything was hot, delicious and served with a smile. Kudo's to the staff in their handling of a customer that was getting extremely rude and belligerent. You are appreciated by your customers😀

Updating precious review! We decided to stop in today during the Big Game time. The staff, food continue to be great. We had a tender combo and chicken combo. Everything was hot, crispy and cooked to perfection. We were greeted warmly when we came in and left. Thanks to all of you for your hard work so we don't have to cook😀😀💕

Great dinner!! Customer interaction is great. This is our new Popeyes:). Third time we've been here. 3pc tender combo meal and 3 pcs chicken meal. Everything hot, perfectly cooked! On the way out they asked if everything was ok and thanked us for coming. Made us feel like we mattered as customers. If you don't have the app, recommend getting it- great...

The gentleman working the drive through refused to give me his name so that I can report him and hung up on me when I called after leaving to ask his name. He talked over me when ordering at the drive through. I tried to ask for a certain condiment and he kept saying all condiments are in the bag which the condiment I attempted to ask for was not. He slammed the drive through window in my face, so I sat at the window waiting for him to come back so that I could get the condiment that I wanted. He opened the window and asked what I needed and I asked for strawberry jelly, he then practically threw like 7 strawberry jellies at me, turned around slammed the window and walked off. I have never received such horrible service. Every time I come to this Popeyes which has only been twice, I have experienced the employees being extremely rude. You are made to feel as though you are bothering them. They are not friendly at all, they rush you and seem very unhappy. I will NEVER support this Popeyes ever again. More training in customer service needs to be done here. The African American gentleman working the drive through doesn't need to interact with customers at all. I'm 100% positive that I'm not the only one that feels this way regarding this...
