I really wanted to like this place but upon entering, there wasn't too much to show. The establishment it self was clean and looked good. The menu, though, was very lacking! True, it is listed as a coffee shop but the seemed to be the only thing they had. They had a sign outside talking about breakfast food, sandwich and burrito, but nothing about what was on it or it they stopped serving it. The thing that really brought me here was that, while the opened at bike fest, they had vegan donuts at the ready. When I went in I saw none of it or anything. I had to ask about it and they said it had to be made to order. Ok, cool, everyone loves fresh donuts! The guy at the counter said they had to be made from scratch, which I can understand. I waited for about 10-15 min which is a bit long. They finally came out and I was kind of disappointed. They didn't have any toppings except some sugar sprinkled very sparingly on one side. The inside was pretty doughy and had a sharp taste to it. The lady there offered their chocolate and caramel syrup from their but they weren't vegan and kind of defeats the purpose. Leesburg has NO vegan options, so I was really looking forward to a spot that had something tasty I could enjoy once in a while. I know they are just a few weeks old at this point but it seems like they didn't have a real plan for when it opened. It seems like they still have a lot of work to do. The giant green V on their front door also looks like the symbol for vegan restaurants, so that was tricky. I would love for this place to add more vegan options, there's no one else around that does and would really stand out. Maybe someday they'll add vegan staple cafe foods, I would love to come back and enjoy them when they do! I hope I can change my review to a five...
Read moreI have been to this coffee shop several times in the past prior to me leaving for work in Ohio. I came in today and it was the perfect spot for me to study. I attempted to get on to their Wi-Fi which I have done so in the past, but I was unable to. I proceeded to walk to the counter and ask the two employees for the information. They leaned against the counter and told me to scan a piece of paper on the wall behind me. I did so several times and was unsuccessful with being able to join the Wi-Fi. At this time they’re just watching me, don’t you think that maybe they should have spoken up and just given me the correct password to do so. No, they just watched me and then they just watched me leave as well. I would’ve come here on a regular basis and spent money on a regular basis however I never want to return to this place again. They were not busy and helping me with a password would have been the extent of what I required from them that day other then the coffee they already made for me. Customer service to me is very important even more so than...
Read moreI had an amazing experience at Vanderbrew Coffee! The chai latte was absolutely phenomenal — the blend of spices was perfectly balanced, and the flavors came together beautifully in the drink. The pumpkin spice latte was just as impressive — rich, cozy, and full of flavor. I also tried the matcha latte, and it was one of the best I’ve had. The matcha was incredibly smooth — no clumps at all — and had a really clean, earthy taste. To top it off, the banana nut muffin was cooked to perfection: moist, flavorful, and just the right texture. Overall, everything I tried was outstanding. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend checking this place out if you...
