Ordered $10 worth of food on the App. Drove to the store to pick up the food and there was a hand written note on the door saying "due to staffing, we're closed." This was around 5pm.
My money was taken so I chatted with Wendy's using the App and they claimed they would refund me. Well it's been a month, no money, no food. Wendy's stole my $10.
There was another girl there who did the same thing but she was out over $20. Then an Uber eats driver showed up and didn't know what to do since they stole his money too and no food to deliver.
Update 6/1/24 11am - Received an email from the local GM Lala asking me to call her and discuss my order. Called and she basically said there's nothing she can do to refund my money, it has to be done via corporate or the App. She said if she refunded me, she would be out the $10.
Several issues with this. 1)Why would she even ask me to call knowing she couldn't do anything. 2) I reached out to corporate a month ago and again recently w/ no results. 3) Shouldn't she have just refunded me the $10 and she can deal with corporate to get it back as I'm the customer and she's a GM? Read moreI'd give this place 0 stars if possible! We walked into the restaurant, and there's a guy at the register, obviously screwing around on his phone. He had a headphone in one ear, and couldn't accurately take our order. Lots of things wrung in wrong and just not correct. The guy couldn't figure out how to put in our coupon and kept having to ask others for help. We finally get the food. The burger patties are burnt, and almost everything else is cold - a few things incorrect. They overcharged us $5 for a drink and didn't fix it, despite us requesting them to. Ordered frosties. Find out AFTER ordering that they are out of vanilla, and therefore the special flavor being advertised. Also, I had to wait while they put more frosty mix into the machine. All the employees went outside while we were waiting, trying to figure out what was going on. We could see them from the lobby passing a blunt around outside. The inside of the restaurant smelled of weed. Why didn't we just leave, you may be wondering. We didn't think our experience could get any worse. Boy, were we wrong!
