Don’t bother going to this KFC! If I could rate it at a zero, I would. This is the absolute worst KFC of all time! This location is run by kids who clearly do not understand the food industry or how to deal with customers...like, at all! These are a bunch of adolescents who do not know what customer service is. Sadly, I saw one of them lose his temper with an older gentleman who just simply was not able to hear his soft voice very well. So instead of speaking up so that the older gentleman could hear him, he got frustrated with him.
They do not wash their hands after coming out of the restroom and don’t practice good hygiene. I saw one of them picking pimples on his face and then preparing food. It was at that point that I decided I absolutely was not going to eat there despite having to wait in a long, long, long line. Oh, did I mention that the drive-through was blocked off?! Yeah, the drive-through at this location is always blocked off… I think just simply because they do not want to deal with the headache of drive-through customers...probably because it takes so long to get your food here. I’m not kidding, what is it with fast food restaurants like KFC that can’t simply higher quality people and run a restaurant the way that it is supposed to be run?!
I’m pretty sure that I saw a couple of bugs run across the floor behind the counter as well…
Seriously such a disappointment. One of my favorite pastimes is eating KFC chicken… And I do not feel comfortable doing that anymore. This franchise location needs some serious help. Clearly, over the last couple of years nothing has changed. Well, today was the last day that I gave them a chance. Trust me folks, do not waste your time going to this KFC… You will regret it and you will remember this honest review... and I never give Google reviews… In fact, this is my...
Read moreIn the mood for chicken and not one for fast food, I saw the menu online and opted for drive through. When I ordered their special they quickly informed me it's discontinued, and end of statement. The service provided was not trained to offer an equivalent and I had to ask for a "comparable item" and was told it's an 8-piece meal. I had to ask for the difference in price, and was never asked what type of chicken (original recipe or crispy), the person just took my payment, closed the window and carried on with the order. I knocked on the window, without any response. After a couple of minutes, a different person returned with my card and receipt. As they turned and started to move away I caught their attention to ask about the chicken and was told they didn't offer because I didn't have a choice since they were out of crispy recipe. I have the okay and a couple of minutes later another person came to inform me they couldn't complete the meal because there were no biscuits unless I wanted to wait another ten minutes. I was stupified with the process of having to initiate resolutions by asking questions. What are the options? Wait, or we could give you cake or pie or another side. What are the sides? Potatoes, Cole slaw, or Mac and cheese. The process was mildly frustrating at least. When I pulled out to leave and got on the road, I dipped my hand in for the cheater piece that every parent gets for making the trip. The chicken was rubbery, with much of the crust cooked hard so that it was like cheering on the bone. I set it back and prayed everyone would be hungry enough to just eat, so that I didn't have to go back and address the order again. The score of 2/5 is deserved because of poor service and disappointing food quality which will likely get dismissed with being within 2...
Read moreHere is an update of my last review:
I have changed my rating from one to three stars. I was in a situation where I "had" to use this location again. This time around I see they have a far better staff who is responsive and who are willing to help. They also were markedly faster, even with big orders.
No, you can't substitute. That seems to be a rule set in stone, but I realize it's a store policy and not a rule their staff has made. But this time they were so much more professional in explaining it. It doesn't seem like punk kids managing punk kids any longer -- their staff has definitely improved.
I feel I need to give credit where it is due and what used to be a terrible location has improved so I have to update my review. Terrible. Unable to correctly take and deliver orders. On top of that, you cannot substitute a side. If you order a combo you will be given a full large coleslaw whether you want to pay for it or not. No exceptions.
Nearly impossible to hear properly at the drive thru (their only option right now) and in talking to a manager you realize it's just a case of some kid who happens to be supervising his friends with no ability or desire to manage customer satisfaction.
Each fast food location is a crapshoot and they can vary greatly in a chain. The franchise owner of this location needs to pay more attention or just give it up and let In N Out take...
