I wish I could give zero stars, but I'm forced to give one. Don't EVER stay at this establishment. My husband and I were forced to stay here for several days as our house burned down due to the fires. We lost everything. The only good thing I have to say about our stay is that the Front desk attendant lacy was very kind, and understanding and even gave us a discount when I told her of our plight. However, the parking lot is always full of homeless people, which isn't what bothers me, it's the fact that many of them are on drugs, I was openly asked if I could find methamphetamine for a man. I of course told the man no. I was shocked to see the same man the next morning behind the front desk! I was immediately taken aback. Ontop of the maintenance man being a meth addict, they refuse to serve breakfast, though most every other hotel in the area does! Their linens were stained. EVERYONE of them. We asked for maid service and those linens were stained as well, they even had what looked to dirt clearly visible right at the top. I called the front desk in frustration and she came and changed our sheets and comforter for us she works the front desk and somehow she is the only person who was able to supply us with linens that didn't have yellow stains or dirt all over them. In addition a mistake was made on our reservation and the front desk said he didn't know how to fix it and left it at that! We tried contacting the "manager" and it was like pulling teeth! He is NEVER THERE. This was all in three days. On the final evening I was once again appalled to see that same man along with several kids in the smoking area, I had to walk across the parking lot to the gas station adjacent to the hotel to get a drink as the vending machine was sold out of the soda I prefer, on my way back the others had left but that man was talking to a girl who looked extremely uncomfortable. She couldn't have even been of age! Having daughter's myself I was disgusted, I asked the girl if she needed someone to walk her back to her room. That man and the manager Andrew should be fired! The former should be in jail. I never caught his name but my husband said he does maintenance for the hotel. Upon check out time we were thrown out of our room like criminals by the maid, who just burst through the door without knocking, even after we asked for a late check out. If you have children, or anything of value with you I highly recommend you stay somewhere else. I'm extremely agast that this hotel is a choice hotel! I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, regardless of how I felt about them! EDIT:Upon reading other negative reviews I would like to point out that a man complained that he the owner Andrew, couldn't take his CLC card and blatantly lied, and said they do not take them. I know that they do take clc cards, and yet his reply to this complaint is that they are doing their best to take his perferred method of payment. These people are disgusting. Andrew must be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe desk clerk was sick. She was constantly sucking in her sinus drainage through her nose. I asked her if she had the sniffles. She said "yes". SHE WAS NOT WEARING A MASK!. THIS WAS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC! It may be because she was sick, but she was very unfriendly. As the face of a hospitality business, you'd think that the first face you see when you enter is a hospitable face! In the morning when we were passing the front desk to bring stuff to the car, she was still there, behind the counter, wrapped in a blanket...SLEEPING.. There were stains that looked like blood or crap on the towels. We spilled some water on the floor in the room, after using a towel to dry the water, the towel was black. This told us the floor was filthy. The mattress was rock hard. There was only enough toilet paper in the bathroom for 1 use. There was NO breakfast. There was a sign on the counter stating so. So, if they didn't serve breakfast, don't you think the rate for room should have been cheaper? This Choice hotel was a HUGE disappointment. We called later that day (Thursday) to speak to a manager about our experience and we were told that a manager only works weekends after 2pm. We were told to...
