I used to really like this place, when they used to have good servers and food. Jose and Corey and Christopher are great servers, but then they hired the slackest people you could possibly get. You can stand at the front door for 10 to 15 minutes and nobody will ever come out from the back to see if there are customers at lunch time. Had to go in the kitchen and find the waiter sitting around playing video games. The toilet is overflows in the ladies room because they don't bother putting a trash can in the handicap stall where they have a baby changing area. But they do mop the floors of the bathrooms and leave them wide open while customers are still in the restaurant. Letting people know that this wait staff is so in a hurry to go home that they can't wait for the customers to leave before they start mopping up the bathrooms. Very unsafe! If someone Falls I guess they'll figure it out because they don't have any wait staff that realizes you don't clean the floors and sweep under people's feet when there are still customers in the restaurant sorry honey but you're not going to make it home until 10:30 or 11:00 if you close at 10:00. Terrible! I guess sitting around and being drunk instead of actually managing your staff is more important. I did notice they don't wash the produce at the bar so that's probably why I got sick off of a salad. If you don't wash the produce people are eating pesticides and all of the hands that have touched the produce from the fields to the plate. I did enjoy the karaoke even though it was not a comfortable location they should have had the guy set up in the corner where nothing happens at the bar instead of on that tiny stage. Singers were blocking the hallway to the bathroom and the only entrance to the kitchen when they sing because they had it set up in the wrong place. A lot of people enjoyed that but it was really stage. Singers were blocking the hallway to the bathroom and the only entrance to the kitchen when they sing because they had it set up in the wrong place. A lot of people enjoyed that but it was really silly to try and have it in such a tiny place and have all of those tables so close to the bar so that people couldn't sit at the bar stools. It's just really unorganized there, and the fake plant full of dust in the front should have been a warning sign from the get-go....
Read moreI would've given a 3 but the Manager's (or Owner-tall dark haired man) actions at the end put the icing on the cake. For starters we arrived prior to big groups who followed. Our order was placed so we didn't expect to long of a wait. My husband ordered pink lemonade, took a sip, and quickly experienced a burn... which was 100% related to his chemo/radiation treatments. We asked if he can just switch out to water and explained why. About 30mins passed and no food or refills of water, after asking for refills multiple times. We understand things get hectic but we were the only table not getting any attention. Another 15mins or so passed and we asked about our food. Needless to say, the food came out cold. We kindly asked for it to be heated. It returned somewhat warm but we accepted it anyway. Upon checking out we noticed the drink was still on our ticket, so we brought it to the waitresses attention. She said the manager will fix it and walked away. While my head was slightly tilted down from looking at my phone, the Manager comes over throws the paper near me and abruptly walks away. We were shocked by his behavior. Granted, we've never received a "positive vibe" from him and we've gone there almost 2-3 times a week since we moved to this area. The overall management has never been spectacular but we had a couple of waiters/waitresses that were good so we looked past the many injustices we witnessed. We weren't bothersome and always gave good tips. Tonight was the last straw. The Manager's actions were unprofessional, disrespect and rude. We told the waitress we would not return, by which she apologized because she knew we were regulars. Long story short, if you're of a certain "type", you'll be treated like royalty during your entire visit. Otherwise, you'll be treated like a waste of their time....
Read moreI have heard so many people say how much they love this place but last night we decided to try it and I was so disappointed. When we got there we stood at the hostess area at the front for a good 7 minutes before anyone bothered to speak to us. Why was it warm in the restaurant? Our server came up and got our drink orders and we ordered rolls. The rolls were very frozen pre made quality, disappointing. Our server was reminded that we needed silverware but hadn't brought it yet. We then ordered mozz sticks and placed our dinner orders. Our mozz sticks arrived and we started on them, they were good and seemed homemade. Then my husbands ceasar salad arrived which was a "premium" side. We still had no silverware and our waiter had not taken the time to ask if we needed anything. I finally managed to flag down the host and ask for silverware. The ceasar salad was a small amount of spring mix with shredded cheese and a couple croutons...I've never had a ceasar like that, it felt more like a regular side salad with different dressing and a higher price tag. Our entrees were also disappointing. My husband ordered a $40 steak that while it was very moist it had no seasoning and the grill definitely wasn't hot enough, the rare steak he ordered was almost blue. The mashed potatoes had no seasoning either at least nothing we could taste. I ordered the ground sirloin...I could have been just as happy with a microwave salisbury steak. The broccoli and mashed potatoes I had for a side were just as disappointing, no seasoning. I'm not sure what was going on last night but a restaurant that came so highly recommended surely did disappoint. Not sure if we will give them a...
