I ordered two medium pizza's and a side of parmesan bites at 7:26 PM. The expected delivery time was 48-58 minutes. At 8:48 PM I called the store to check on the status of my order (the dominos tracker had been stuck on quality check since 7:42 PM). The employee informed me that they were busy but the pizza had left the store and was on the way. I live about 5 min from the store so I figured it would be at my doorstep soon. At 9:12 PM, almost 30 minutes from when I was told the food was on the way, and about 1 hour and 40 minutes from when I ordered, I called back. The dominos tracker was still saying the order was going through quality control. The employee then told me that the store was short on drivers and that the food was on the way again. At this point I received an email that said they had messed up the delivery, and I was given 20% off my next order. This made me feel like the store knew they had messed up and were trying to fix everything for me, so I felt relived. At 9:41 PM I still had not received my food, this was almost 2 and a half hours from when I placed the order. I tried to call back again and let someone know that I wasn't satisfied with my experience at this point. I was again told that the food had just went out, and was on the way to me. I told them I was unsatisfied and was going to contact corporate, at this point I was feeling lied to about the status of my order. I expected the employee to understand and give me an option of a refund or to remake the food and send it out to me asap. I was instead met with an attitude and the only option I was given was to have the food remade and for me to come pick it up. I was not wanting to do that, since I had ordered delivery and we are in the middle of a "stay at home" order in the state of North Carolina. I found this to be very unprofessional on the part of Dominos. I then repeated that I was going to contact corporate and the employee just said "fine call 1-800 dominos" at this point I hung up, and expected to not receive any further help or my food. At 9:48 PM I was contacted by a different employee at this Dominos location who called me and said that the food had been left on the front porch like I asked. He then insinuated that it must have been stolen by a neighbor or something. I assured him that we had been checking the porch and there was no food. I was unaware that Dominos policy was to just leave food on the front door without a knock or phone call to let me know. I received none of this, I understand Dominos is practicing "contactless delivery" but I at least expected to be made aware that my food was sitting outside, which is what other restaurants have done. The employee who called me was just as unprofessional as the last, because I wasn't met with a solution from Dominos to help right this wrong and get me my food. The employee just said "well the driver left it on the porch" and basically laughed the whole thing off. I have ordered from Dominos many times over the years and have never been met with this level of unprofessionalism and disrespect. Last night I never received my food or a refund, I even pre tipped the driver for his trouble. Like I said, I've ordered Dominos for years but I'm not sure that I will ever order again, especially not from...
Read moreAfter ordering online and paying for the order I was instructed that to have car delivery I would have to get text messages to complete the delivery. I got to the location and parked in front in an open space. I was told by a text to let them know I was there which I replied yes to. The text asked me to put on my emergency lights so they could easily identify me. I did all this. 15 minutes then 20 and I went to the door and asked loudly if they had the order for my name. They wouldn’t answer. I then had to call on the phone where I wanna as places on hold 2 times! Never told if my order was there or ready. I was angry by now because when the Manager finally did address me she was absolutely short nasty and told me that they never get texts and that I had to park in a place they could see my car! There wasn’t a spot in front but on the side. And most of all online it asked my car make model and color!!! It took more yelling into the store because the manager wouldn’t come closer to me to speak and I couldn’t hear her. Meanwhile employees and delivery people were taking food out to cars all around me not visible by the front windows. The store front parking was about 6 spaces some they could see some not. Finally 50 minutes after I placed the order and over 40 minutes being there they listened and got the name on the order. When I was handed the order the pizza box had become soggy from sitting so long. All the while I was being told they have no text system for delivery to cars. A ridiculously long time and being told everything I did online to place my order I was angry because never once was there an apology just negative remarks that what I was doing wasn’t right. Another lady by me was having the same situation after an online order. All because they couldn’t see the car from inside! I was told because the pizza was soggy by now they would redo the order in 15 to 20 minutes. All the while making and delivering other orders. I was ignored and treated so badly. The order took more like 25 minutes then to redo and when I finally got it the pizza was the wrong size!!! Never never go here!!! It seems they have no affiliation with online orders and will do all possible to dodge anything that is done wrong with your order. NEVER...
Read moreReceived 3 failures from the 318 Village Rd. Leland, NC 28451 location. Order placed at about 815pm. This was ordered as a pan pizza, extra sauce. It's bone dry. Called the store and spoke with a staff member, MJ. Explained the error. He offered me store credit, and I declined. I asked that a new pizza be delivered to me. His tone immediately became rude. He said that it would be another 40 minutes, give the driver the old pizza, and hung up on me.
The second atrocity occurred at 945pm. The pizza arrived and the staff decided to get a little petty. The extra sauce that I requested was ladled in the middle of the pizza. Sauce was also spread across the edges of the crust and the dough was lifted so that sauce could be applied to the sides of the dough. I guess this was my penance for requesting to receive the pizza I ordered & paid for. Since it's late, I decided to try and make the best of this "pizza". This pizza was not cooked through or cut through. I sighed and wasn't going to call back but growling stomach changed my mind.
I call the store and get MJ again. I tell him the problem and he actually laughed. I asked him to please send my pizza made correctly. I also asked if I could receive my order before the 40 minute time quote when I called the first and second time. You're going to be shocked ; he said it would take AT LEAST 40 minutes. The 3rd pizza arrived at 10:40PM.
3rd failure. This pizza was over cooked. The sauce on the edges was burned along with the cheese. Since I was starving and needed to get to bed, I tried to give it a shot. Unfortunately, this pizza was also a bust. It had a weird, chemical smell and the box was wet with that same smell.
This is a franchise store, and I’ve been in contact with the district manager multiple times. He text me “ We did review the footage and found no evidence of food tampering. We also checked all potential sources of chemical injury and found none. All of our cleaning supplies are ordered from Domino's and are safe for food service.” I found that to be the odd since the most recent health inspection noted the storage of hazardous chemicals.
When I asked him about that, he asked me to complete a liability claim form for the franchise insurance company. Not...
