Taco Bell — Restaurant in Leland

I don’t even know where to start with this one. I have never left a review before, but after this experience I made an account just to let others know. Do Not Go Here. Biggest waste of money and scam. I’d rather pay double and go anywhere else even in this economy than to ever go to this Taco Bell again. They weren’t even understaffed that the worst issue, they had more than plenty of people. It’s just lazy workers who can’t do their job. Not only did it take forever(kinda normal there was other people so this part understandable but still not for the amount of time we waited), but then they gave our order to someone else and when he said it wasn’t his order, a worker took it to another worker and they finally got the right name and didn’t even call it out they barely even whispered it then just placed it on the pick up counter without anyway for anyone to know who’s order it was, because not only were they not calling the names like they are supposed to they also didn’t have the names anywhere on the bag. Then they didn’t give us our drinks and just looked at us confused and asked what we had so I guess this place is only good if you want to scam them because they apparently can’t read the orders or what is on them. Then their drink machine was out of a good 1/3 of the drinks and the popular ones at that. I finally get in my car to eat after that experience just to find the food opened and sideways so the chalupa cheese and lettuce fell out and of course it was somehow on my quesadilla wrapper. The CHICKEN quesadilla was uncut, had black burnt bits on it and maybe a a few little pieces of chicken. The chalupa had no sour cream on it which it had came with, sorry no it did just the tiniest little bit on side of it, and no I don’t mean actually on it they looked like they just smeared a little on the left side of the breading… I say this as a previous Taco Bell worker from a big city where it was actually busy that these are just lazy people and to never go here if you can help it! Went here tonight (4/8/2022) (8:51PM) it wasn’t busy, line was only like 5 cars, the lady taking our order was extremely rude, didn’t answer any questions we had and had a straight rude attitude, when we had asked if we could edit one of our items she didn’t answer and kept cutting us off, we had a question and again she didn’t answer us and stayed quiet. When we got to the window we asked her if we could change the item we never got to edit she cut us off and said “it’s already made, no” with a hastily attitude. we brushed it off and proceeded with cashing out. We had a coupon to use and tried to give it to her, she closed the window in our face and asked someone else to check us out as if she was annoyed with how we were paying. Luckily one of the mangers came up and took care of everything, he offered to replace our item we wanted to edit and gave us the manger discount so we ended up paying nothing. He was super kind and listened to us and treated us like normal human beings. I’m 8 months pregnant and the way she treated me and my boyfriend was beyond me ! Jamie B is what our receipt says but I’m not sure if it was the same person who took our order and was at the window. If it happened to be her she should be fired for the way she acted and handled things. Picked up dinner about a month ago and the hard taco shells tasted sour and rotten. My boyfriend ended up staying home from work the next day because he felt so sick from the tacos. I thought maybe it was a bad batch so we waited some time before going back.

We went back for dinner tonight and could immediately smell that familiar rotten stench coming from our food. We went back to taco bell hoping to talk to the manager to get our money back but the lobby was closed so we went back through the drive thru. When we pulled up to the speaker and explained what happened we were told “ok thank you, goodbye”. We stayed in line and got up to the window where we explained ourselves again. This is the second time we’ve gotten putrid taco shells and we just wanted them to actually check the shells and refund us so we could get something edible for dinner. The employee at the window said that they’ve had no complaints and offered to remake our food usuing the same shells. The smell that radiates off of these shells is absolutely foul and unlike anything ive ever smelled before. The employee simply said that he had been smelling these shells all day and that nothing was wrong.

Save yourself the money and just go to any of the other five fast food restaurants...
