Follow up to review. Now that the cats homes are gone some homeless people have moved in on the first night with the homes gone. Some of the cats are missing so hope KFC management and town of Leland are happy now. You now have people sleeping behind your restaurant and sweet homeless cats that didn’t cause any problems have no shelter from the cold and rain.
This is more about the management of this KFC than the food.
There are 2 ladies that feed the stray cats that have been living behind the kfc in Leland for the past 3-4 years. They were told that they have to remove the houses that sit in the woods by 1-17-24 or they will be torn down and thrown away. There has been no issues until the new manager showed up. The 2 ladies that feed the cats at their own expense were told when the previous manager asked about them that the town of Leland owned the land and they had no problems with the cats being there. They do not know where they cats came from but they noticed them at least 3 years ago and saw that they did not have any food or shelter and provided both for them. They worked with a rescue organization to try and get the cats fixed, again at no expense to KFC, so that there will not be more cats. The rescue has no place for them because they are already have too many cats that they are trying to find homes for.
The cats have been living there with no issues until now and we are not sure if the current KFC manager thinks the cats will go somewhere else or what, but it is doubtful because this is the only home...
Read moreMy experience is one of the worst I've ever experienced. We ordered 8 piece bucket. The price read one thing and we were quoted another. When we asked the rude drive thru guy, his response was " I don't make the sign & said the total again laughing...CLEARLY YOU DON'T!!! His young buddy friend comes along to cheer him on as if this was a game. I asked for the manager, who told me to drive back around to read the sign again. AS IF WE NEEDED A LESSON FROM THE KFC CREW. Right, wrong or indifferent, this KFC need to train knowledgeable people who can deliver customer service. They where in the store loud having a good time, ignoring the customers. My family and I will never go back. Then we get home to the wrong order & cold food. No one answered the phone when we called. I called the corporate office and the lady agreed that something needs to be done. they gotten alot complaints about the store and I was suppose to get a call back. No response from no one. This is not how you treat customers. But I guess if the head do not care, how do you expect the rest to follow. Too many young people with no understanding of customer service. Just awful service. Shame on you KFC....
Read moreI occasionally stop by this KFC restaurants on my way home because my mother loves the pot pies. The last two times I stopped after arriving home I discovered my order was wrong. I live 30 minutes away so it is not feisable to go back. Ordered pot pie first time and a white meat meal and got dark 2nd time ordered a $20.00 fill-up meal and a pot pie, got home and did not have my mother’s pot pie. Also the 8 piece fill-up had 4 thighs and no wings. You would think they would mention this (I would not have accepted it). I paid for the pot pie but did not get it. This restaurant needs to fix their speakers at the drive through or employees need to double check what they give vs what is ordered. I am tired of my orders not being right.
