Starbucks — Restaurant in Leland

After placing an online order at 10:06 it was very surprising to me to be waiting on one drink at 10:45 while watching other cars come to Starbucks and leave with their drink in hand.

The wait didn’t bother me as much as the lack of concern from the six people who were working as to why my daughter was waiting a half hour for her drink to be made. in the interim she ordered a sandwich while sh waited. and got that but her warm drink took 30 minutes. Meanwhile they had the exact same drink waiting from another person who ordered it and was not there to get it. Half of the order was processed which was my drink and her sandwich why an entire order is not put together to be ready at the same time is anybody’s guess

At no point in time did any of the three people we told about the delay say I’m sorry about that let me see what’s happening and why it’s taking so long. I got a rude snippy attitude from the same person who kept wondering what was going on after I had told him three times. I don’t know if it’s a new staff at Starbucks because we have never had this problem there before, however this has ruined my desire to go to the Starbucks in Leland

I have come to the Starbucks many times and I’ve never had any issues. I actually think they make the drinks better than the standalone Starbucks across the street however, since the new Matcha powder has come out, I just don’t think that they quite understand how to make it correctly. I’ve had it at other Starbucks. It’s turned out fine, but it needs another scoop of Matcha powder or something because every time I get it plain with the new powder that’s not sweetened with anything it literally just taste like I’m drinking milk. It’s barely a green color. As someone who has been drinking both Starbucks Matcha and Japanese Matcha for a couple years now I just know that they’re not putting enough powder in it. 2022 Update* This location has really gone down hill. So sad to see. The staff is not personable at all and they are always out of everything. It seems like only one person at this location knows how to make cold brew and if they aren't in, it doesn't get done. Such a shame because they were so great with this last staff.
