Waffle House — Restaurant in Monroe

I can't believe I'm giving this place such a low rating. This was literally the worst experience I've ever had, and by far the most deceiving. To start off, the waitress kept complaining that she shouldn't be working today because she just had surgery. Then I had to ask for pickels that came with my sandwich, and never received. I also had to remind her that I ordered biscuits and gravey after the rest of our order was brought to us. Then the deception comes in. While paying a different waitress was ringing me out. She told me my total and swiped my card. She grabbed the receipt and told me my total again then told me to sign on the line. As I was about to sign I looked at the total. She charged me double the price of the amount on my check. When I said something, she said "What? Are you sure?". Then proceeded to act like it was a mistake. I mean seriously, she looked at the receipt knowing the amount was different and told me my order price. I can only imagine how many people were over charged today. Just so this dirty trash of a person could pocket the extra money. I'll never return to this...

Once we got our food, some of it was good. But the waitress was flirting with my friend and a minor and tried to flirt with her after she said she was underaged. Also we waited over 2 hours to get ordered and get our food when there was nobody in the restaurant yet. Even when these mini group came in, they got their food first and paid. Not to mention we got our drinks and never got them at the end of the night. So I bought a drink but didn’t get it still? I don’t think that adds up. I should have just up and left!!! The waitress used the excuse that we were the last people of our group to show up and try to be patient… But that got us nowhere!!! We ended up getting it a take out but she mentioned about another payment for that. Food, service and drinks arn’t worth the wait and arnt worth more than 15 dollars for a meal that is 9 and a drink that is only 3 dollars. Not to mention the bathrooms were an absolutely unsanitary and disgusting. Even when washing my hands, I felt very dirty. Never coming to this location...

Says online and on there corporate site that they were to be open 24 hours a day. Was traveling threw town and arrived at 5:30am, actually went 25 minutes out of my way to eat at the establishment because myself and my girlfriend were starving. When we arrive the staff had locked the doors and said that they were so slow that they were now closed until 8am. The lady was extremely rude and appeared to be intoxicated. The cook was passed out in a booth. I explained that it says that they were open 24 hours and I drove out of my way to come and have breakfast at there location, I was told she didn't care, all the meanwhile 3 more cars of people pulled up and were trying to eat as well. She became extremely aggressive and hostile and told us she was going to call 911. She was obviously high as a kite. I will never attempt to eat at any waffle house ever again due to this incident and lack of response...
