Drop In Tea Monroe — Restaurant in Monroe

The tea is fantastic so I give it 5 stars!! I give the experience 2..so we will meet in the middle at a 31/2 and round to a 4. Please be patient with them. The internet said they opened at 9:30 (Saturday) I went in around 11:10 and NOBODY was there not even a staff. There was a coffee cup and 2 teas on the bar near the window but not a soul in sight. I waited about 5 minutes before someone came out of the back. She was very kind and took my order and let me know there would be a bit of a wait. She went to the back and the place was left with no one by the register. I took a seat and watched a couple walk in and wait, they decided to leave after about 2 min. Then a young woman walked in and stood at the register, she asked me if they were open and I told her yes, but I think there is only one person here. She waited patiently for 5 minutes before walking out. Another couple walked in while I was waiting. I told them the staff member was in the back. They said they stopped in earlier and were told the bobas would be ready in 20 min. They ended up leaving as well. I had paid already so I just sat there and waited on my tea to be ready. I am such a HUGE fan of boba tea. I hope they can get the proper staff so that they stay open. To put a time-line on it. Ordered around 11:15...

This is the worst milk tea. First- the floor in front of the register was super sticky, gross sticky. I told the guy taking orders it was and he just shrugged. It wasn’t that busy and there were plenty of workers- they were actively choosing to ignore cleaning the gross floor. I still ordered- a brown sugar milk tea with boba and milk cap. While I waited for my drink I looked around and noticed that the place was really dirty. The sink behind the counter, the utensils and at the end of the counter was a roll of toilet paper…. Like instead of napkins or paper towel there was just a roll of toilet paper for customers to use. This just added to the gross factor. Then I got my drink. It’s a milk cap, but she shook it before giving it to me- I have never received a milk cap like that. I tasted it as I left, the cream or cream cheese in the milk cap was off or old because it tasted like that. There was hardly any brown sugar so it was easy to taste. I ended up throwing it away and not bothering to go back. Never going in...

It was my first time coming here and I ordered the Oreo Up Bubble Waffle. It said on the menu that it was vanilla gelato, Oreos, and Nutella. We watched her make it...she pulled out a Kroger brand carton of vanilla ice cream, opened a package of Oreos from the store, and topped it with Hershey chocolate syrup. Very disappointed in the fact that they lied about their products. Not to mention it was not very sanitary...using the same gloves to touch our ice cream (?) and cone, that she used to turn on the very dirty fan (that would normally be used to cool a room) to dry our cone- and make everything else she was making. There were multiple other things I could name that I was very unimpressed with that were very unsanitary, but it’s TMI and I would not want to embarrass anyone. I would not be back to this place and definitely would not pay $9 for a product that ends up being something that I could go buy at Kroger and make on my...
