The ladies were amazing at hosting us when we first got there the acoustic music was amazing towards the end of the Afternoon after we paid everything out, we were hanging out killing some time. The musician said that he was going to play again and we wanted to check him out 100%.. One of my friends join me for the afternoon session she was not there in the earlier session and there was a male hostess that kicked us out and said we needed to go then he screamed at her because of her shirt and saying that you are sloppy drunk look at your shirt when she got there like that to food that she was cleaning off her shirt prior to her getting there I don't know why he assumed that and said that to her in front of everyone, but it was uncalled for and it was embarrassing not necessary so I'm disappointed amazing atmosphere amazing food amazing the ladies were amazing hosting everything and the waiter just had a go and come nasty at us and my friend, my friend had nothing to do with her earlier party. my friend just got there and was attacked not to be allowed in there base of her shirt being dirty and was called a drunk don't assume young man! Scream like that to her in front of everybody how embarrassing!!!! she had to clean her shirt from food that she came from in her car had nothing to do with her earlier party no reason to yell at her and...

I rated it a 4 only because there was no one in the place that looked like me but nonetheless I felt welcomed; staff was GREAT!!! First time at this place, stumbled upon it while eventbrite surfing. Unsure of parking I decided to arrive early and leave straight from work; grab a bite to eat and a drink before the comedy show actually started. Unbeknownst to me, it was closed because of the comedy show; but take orders were available. I ordered the grilled chicken wrap w/tots and some fried pickles; I was going to order and sit in my car until it was time to enter but once I told (Jen) the woman who took my order that I'd be attending the show she asked my first name and immediately knew my last.....I was impressed!! She seated me at the bar and insisted that I wait there until the live band arrived and tables were ready. At the bar I then met the bartender(Mike) who was very friendly and welcoming....drinks were 💣😋 the food was hot, came out timely and delicious. When my table was ready I was seated and assigned Katie as my server; she was great and very attentive. Peggy the owner was very nice; before the show started she came out to each table and introduced herself; asking how was everything! Overall my experience here was grear; I have no complaints. I would definitely come...

Nice inside. However, it took FOREVER to get our food. We probably waited over 40 minutes and no one came by to let us know why. We were only a party of three. There were two other tables occupied by two adults each. So they weren't busy. But we did see some on line orders go out for delivery while we waited. Had the food been great, it would have been worth the wait. The fish and chips were five little over fried nuggets of who knows what. Instead of fries, my husband ordered tator tots. I could have cooked that at home, if I felt like cooking. I ordered the turkey panini special. It said it was hand carved but it was more like thick cut deli meat, which I try to avoid. The fries were from a bag of frozen fries probably from Costco. I love fries so I ate them anyway. My daughter ordered the chicken avocado panini and she said the chicken breast was one you get frozen in bulk. She was expecting sliced avocado but it was smashed spread. And now my stomach hurts. Probably too much cheese covering the deli meat. We won't be back. So sad because the menu selection looks like good home cooked...

I had high hopes for this place but was disappointed. I ordered the Cubano Quesadilla which sounded pretty fancy to me. The biggest disappointment for me was the salad. The salad was advertised as 'mixed greens, with pecans, orange supremes, cucumber with homemade cranberry orange vinaigrette. All I received was a tiny box with very basic lettice with a few pecans at the bottom. I wish I was exaggerating but I'm not. The cranberry orange vinaigrette was basically mostly oil with orange sludge sitting at the bottom. My wrap was barely average quality and clearly made with very poor quality deli meat and other ingredients. My cornbread was really hard and didn't seem fresh at all. All in all I wouldn't say any of this stuff is home cooked and seems very poor in quality. If I had paid $6 I may have been less surprised but unfortunately my total was $20 and I definitely felt robbed. I hate leaving reviews like this but feel its essential to be honest especially when you feel let down like this. I understand lemontians are very supportive and protective of their businesses but I can't help but feel they deserve better.

We love to support local restaurants and we’re excited to finally give Digs on Canal a try! The interior was smaller than I expected, but it wasn’t too busy when we were there (and I know there is outdoor seating as well, which I am very excited to try this summer!). The staff were very kind, friendly, and helpful. The wait for our food felt rather long for how many people were there, but probably was only around 20-30 min? Everybody is short staffed these days so I try not to count that against anyone! We had our drinks brought out quickly so appreciated those to sip on—the green apple sangria (seasonal) was delicious! I ordered bbq chicken wings which were huge and honestly really great. My husband ordered the Reuben panini which also was really wonderful in terms of flavor, texture, and a great size for the price. Our friends ordered Buffalo wings (which they said were really good—especially the Buffalo sauce) and Mac n cheese. We would definitely consider coming back again, especially for the live music nights! Thank you for a wonderful meal.
